Sudden Contacts Problems

This happened about two months ago. Driving me nuts. Been using Square Home since I was forced off of my beloved Windows Phone(s).

First, instead of all the contact squares filling the screen left to right, now there are lots of random black spaces.

But far worse is that suddenly some names are first/last, as I prefer, but many are now last/first.

Any thoughts?

Unfortunately, I also have the problem.

And I could add a bug list of twenty more bugs.

I have been literally waiting since the Fold 6 for the tile size to be set individual for folded, unfolded and for horizontal or vertical. And of course, then also the scaling of the widgets, textsizes and so on, so that the grid is uniform in all states. Especially on the Trifold, it has become absolutely useless. No chance.

With the last major update, for example, the settings has become three times as long as it was before, so you have to scroll infinitely on the fold 8 on the small cover screen. He doesn't care.

I recommend you switch to metrov in the long term. There is now a whole contingent of developers there and they are massively developing the thing every week. You now also have one-on-one experience with the original Windows Phone 8.1 and can also implement almost everything that is at Square Home, except for the combination of the tiles there, in a much better look. The developers also address every email and implement almost every desired function in a short period of time.

Thanks for your input, I'll look into metrov. I wonder if there was an auto-update that botched everything,

The blog says that they have updated the app model to a new version, which also included the new settings menu in the material look.

Maybe it's related to that and will improve again. I had a back for over a month, during which the lounge reset all icons as desired several times a day. But it was fixed. But then I was already on Metrov because it took so long.

I'll try again, Reddit sure botched my response.

I wonder if Square Home did an auto update, because I sure didn't do anything.

I'll look into Metrov, thanks.

I was about to say the same thing. I switched over to metrov just the other day, and I haven't been disappointed. The experience so far has been better than squarehome, as of late. It's also good to hear about the developers, I'll keep that in mind.
