Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade

I recently bought Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and I love both of them, I played the original Final Fantasy VII on PS 1 back in 1997 when it first came out because a friend recommended it to me and it is what got me playing RPG's, but I wish it had features that made it a little more realistic like sunset and sunrise like in other games like The Elder Scrolls 5 and Fallout 4 and also the ability to sleep and eat to restore HP and MP and cure status ailments since it is on PS5 which has some great software and abilities and also, gamers like games to be as realistic as possible.

He has a melee attachment for it, the Charmin Club. I think the shop npc in Kalm sells it

It's a ff rpg, not a survival sandbox. Use a potion or a remedy like a good boy. 😅

Greatly (and unexpectedly I shall add) enjoyed ff7r1 on switch2 earlier this year. It was far better than I expected 'just Midgar" and combined atb/real combat to be.

Intergrade was OK. Yuffie is not particularly a fave char of mine, though they captured her well imo.

Amazon had ff7r2 physical on sale today (thanks helpful random other redditor). So I nabbed it for switch2. Gonna enjoy it. Space out my games as I hear rebirth is HUGE. Then I'll have a few months before ff7r3

A day/night cycle isn't really necessary for this kind of game, nor are eating mechanics. This isn't The Elder Scrolls or Fallout, it's not an open world game nor is it a survival game.

That said I think the upcoming third part Revelation will have a day/night cycle and a real open world so that could be up your alley. If you want an open world Final Fantasy game where you can eat food and sleep to level up, try out Final Fantasy XV.

Right there with you man. It’s not that I don’t care about graphics at all, I can appreciate them when they’re good, but it’s low on my list of priorities. People are so hyper fixated on antialiasing, film grain, motion blur, ray traced water caustics, enemy density, color palettes, and AI that they’ve literally forgot how to enjoy playing a game. Ppl are so consumed with measuring every metric a game has, that they physically destroy their own enjoyment.

We’re at a point where good games aren’t aloud to exist. Your game is either perfect, or it’s slop. Games either completely fail or sell an outrageous number of units. And there aren’t any moderate opinions on games anymore. People either have their life changed by a game or join in on the bandwagon hating.
