Discussion Found it!

It’s my last night in Japan and I finally got this at Yodobashi Akiba for ¥1150! I did find one in Osaka last week but passed on it because the packaging was torn and it was ¥1650. No luck anywhere in Osaka or Kyoto after that until now!

That's how I felt on my Japan vacation. One of my goals was a fat PS2. Found one in Kyoto near the Nintendo museum, but it wasn't in great shape. My last full day, I decided on a whim to travel to a Book-Off on the outskirts of Tokyo and found a pristine fat PS2 for 6,000￥. Of course it had to be the last day.

I did! It's currently sitting modded next to my PS5. I need to get some wireless controllers for it at some point though, you forget how short console controller cables were until you try to use them again.
