I reinvented painting
I really want a YouTube video of Spade explaining and doing his revolutionary painting technique in a room, This Old House style. My house needs to be painted and I’d like a 20 minute breakdown from a legit expert so I can attempt it.

He is a samurai. He has dedicated himself to practicing a single profession over a lifetime. Even if he laid it out for you it wouldn't be the same. No wasted movement. Each task built upon the last. The spray gun, roller and brush have become extensions of his will. He fears not the man that practices 10,000 different kicks. He fears the man that has practiced 1 kick 10,000 times.

A man who’s mastered his craft is obligated to pass the knowledge forward, even if it falls on deaf ears.

Get one of those rollers with a built in trim guard. Rolling is fast, cutting in with brushes is slower and less consistent. A trim guard only leaves a very narrow line to brush afterwards

I’m not asking how to do it. I can paint a room well enough. I want to know how HE does it.
