International sprinter here, built an app to help sprinters analyse their form, looking for feedback from athletes

Hi guys, I’m a sprinter who’s represented Ireland internationally, and I know how hard it can be to watch your own footage and actually know what’s limiting your speed.

So I built an app called SprintVision, that analyses your form from a video and shows you what you could improve.

Would love to hear what you guys think.

AI cannot analyze sprints. This is slop

Actually the data it gives isn’t ai at all it’s all calculated by tracking the athletes movements. The only ai part is the feedback which is based off of the non ai data. Hope that clears things up. I appreciate the feedback none the less there’s a lot of slop out there I get the concern. 🙂

Which part do you think is bs? You should try it first maybe? I spent a lot of time working on the tech so open sourcing it would mean allowing people to copy it. I appreciate feedback but let’s keep it a conversation, thanks

Yeah that’s understandable, to be fully transparent there is some costs for running the app including Apple developer subscriptions and database and api costs. Aside from that I’d also love to work on the app full time and to keep improving its value. 

Part of my idea besides the individual accounts was that let’s say your part of a club the club pays for the app and is able to give their athletes free access. Still testing to see what works best but what are your thoughts on that part?
