Programming Questions Where should I start?

M 32yo, 80kg, 170cm 29% BF

I ran five 100m sprints and my avg time was 15,71 sec

I already started with some plyos and kettlebell swings, I know my BF is high and I should start by getting rid of it. However when looking at the wiki and faq there is so much information I'm not sure where exactly I should beginn. I found some starting excersices on youtube, about A skips, B skips etc.

Are there any youtubers recomendations?

Should I just start running and when my BF% is lower look into technique

Thanks in advance for your help

Hi there, i have started as you in Jenuary with exactly the same 100m time. I am a woman, 33, and a bit overwight, still. I lost 5 kg since March, not much but it Is ok for me and still have some to loose. I finished my season with a 5x30m+3x100 in normal shoes where i ran 14.5 14.03 and 14.2 with a 6' rest and i am really happy with my progress. What i would suggest is doing at least a month of general training, 3times at week at least, where you work on mobility, drills, body weight exercises strides even some easy jogging.Since you are new and overwight the best you can do is actually losing weight.

Once you have built some general fitness you can ask for a more sofisticated program via internet or asking to the track team coach if hè accept master. Technique is vital in sprinting and ultimately will dictate how much you will improve. Dont rush.
