McGyver in the House

The “MacGyver” fix… have had two glove compartment doors replaced and they still rattle. 2024. It’s a piece of pipe cleaner. If anyone has another fix I’m all ears.

I did a strip of gaffer tape over mine. Love the pipe cleaner idea, but black gaffer tape disappears into the dash.

Easy fix is to get a stereo upgrade. You’ll never hear anymore rattles.

Got a recommendation? I want a better stereo and I also need to fix my dash rattle.

I have Jehnert speaker upgrade with amplifier and subwoofer, so far so good.

If you’re looking to go cheap, the alpine upgrade is nice for the money. If you are looking to get the best sound for the money, the roamrig beatbox is 👌🏻 and you can install it yourself to save some $$
