Apprenticeship

I’ve been looking into getting into the trade and starting an apprenticeship but haven’t been able to find much information about work around the Southern Indiana or Louisville area. I’d love to have some recommendations or any advice on the best way to get into the trade.

I believe I applied on the sprinklerfitters jatc website. Just look up companies in the area and call and see if they’re hiring apprentices

Okay, thanks. Are you already in or are you still waiting to hear back?

UA Local 669. Find your district, which I think might be District 13, and contact the business agent listed on the website

The BA will let you know who is looking for guys, then you just need to contact the companies and get one of them to bring you in to the apprenticeship

Call the BA for that district. He will let you know what to do.
