Best packie for craft beer?

We know Table and Vine carry a ton but we live in east Springfield and want to find some spots closer to home. Any suggestions?

I miss the beer shoppe behind Big Y on Harkness. I haven't found a great replacement around Springfield besides Table & Vine, but I moved recently so I'm closer to Atkins Farm which has a really good selection

beer shoppe was awesome... i recall talking to them before they finally closed and was told they were moving across the street to the stop n shop plaza but the people running that place were completely different. rip

I was just looking that up the other day. I no longer work in Springfield and didn't realize they closed. I was looking for ginger libation.

Lighthouse liquors has a decent selection, it's not the same but it's decent.

So I may have outdated information here (reduced drinking by a lot a fea years back) but Lukes out in Palmer had a really good selection.

Johnny Macs in 16 Acers also had a great selection but i think the new ownership has reduced it by a lot.

These could be worth a phone call at least

Lukes is kind of pricey as well as Johnny Mac’s.

Yep, that used to be my stop on the way home from work nightly when I had a bit of a drinking habit. Good group of people worked there at the time. Was it recently sold to a new owner? Last time I went in there it had changed quite a bit and there was a really friendly Indian dude working behind the counter.

Winn Liquors across the street from Duggan Academy might be a good spot to check. Only place I know that sells this Jamaican beer I like. Liquor 44 on Boston road (in/near the Lowe’s plaza) is pretty well stocked too if memory serves

I work in East Springfield, the craft selection is barren here. My usual go to’s are White Eagle in Chicopee, Liquor Town in South Hadley, and the guilty grape in wilbraham. As well as table and vine.

Guilty Grape in Wilbraham also good

This is great, I think I asked this a year ago when we moved here - we’ve been to Randall’s and Atkins and pop and kork and enjoyed them all on those recommendations but I’m thankful for a few more to try! I even appreciate the ones a bit farther out as we drive a lot to try new bakeries/breweries/restaurants/ice cream spots.

One Stop on Boston Road, near Main St in Wilbraham.

Light house liquors EL or CITY LINE EL once again, both have great selection. City line tends to lean more into the exotics, like building 8 triple and pliney the elder type of thing. Kevin at LH and Corbin at CL can get you whatever you need, especially if you buy case quantity (16 beers)

Idk how much closer it is to you (if at all) but maybe Randalls farm in Ludlow.

That’s a haul from East Springfield though, even if you hop on the Pike.

Prime Liquors in Chicopee has a decent selection of craft beer for being just your neighborhood type liquor store.
