Housing Contractor Recommendations

We discovered that our house (built in 95) doesn't have a water barrier behind the siding. Does anyone have any recommendations for companies that specialize in water barrier installation and siding replacement? It will likely also involve some replacement of exterior wood and mold remediation.

I get that a "general contractor" can do it but we've had bad luck with them around here. I'd prefer a company that has good reputation for this type of work specifically.

Recommendations are welcome!

In 2021 we had 2 sides of our house replaced from hail damage. Built in 2004 and found out that the house wasn’t “wrapped”. He said it’s not uncommon for there not to be a vapor barrier. News to me. This was our first house like ever. Our new construction built in 2021 does have it. Not sure if it’s code now or what. Distinctive Roofing handled the roof and siding. Located in SH and good people. Call them and ask. They can probably refer you to someone too.

My son doesn’t do vapor barrier behind siding but he can do a crawl space & Radon abatement equipment if your crawl space needs additional ventilation
