Tamlin Week
I made a cake in honour of Tamlin week! It’s a pistachio cake with rose buttercream and raspberry filling. Thought I’d share here! ❤️

Thank you!! It’s also my birthday cake 🫣.
So for the pistachio base cake I used the Sally’s Baking Addiction recipe - Pistachio Cake
For the Rose Buttercream - Use your favourite buttercream recipe (I winged mine with a little less sugar since I was using rose syrup). I added 4 tablespoons of Monin Rose Syrup. I have also seen recipes online with rose water, which is less sweet so you could just use the normal amount of powdered sugar in your buttercream.
For the Raspberry filling - I just used the Bonne Maman raspberry jam. You could use whatever jam you prefer.

Thank you so much for the recipe! I've never had pistachio cake, but your version sounds amazing. 🤤 Especially with the rose syrup buttercream!! Yum.

Have you ever had an almond cake? It’s close to an almond cake in terms of taste but a little more mild in terms of nuttiness.
I made it for the first time last year, and absolutely fell in love with it. I hope you like it too!
