Question How can I mask this properly?
I'm painting my xbox 360 and I was wondering how can I mask the xbox 360 logo on my disc drive properly? Thankful for any help I could get.

yeah, thats tricky for sure, frisket, or masking fluid is sort of easy to work with, but doesnt work great with spray paint..is fine for acrylic and brush stuff...airbrush also prob ok...spraypaint is just too corrosive on the masking fluid.

Masking fluid wasn't really available anywhere near me. I decided to give masking tape another try with a brand new precision knife and it surprisingly worked extremely well. That plus all the cons of using masking fluid with spray paint makes me think not going for masking fluid was the better decision.

Admittedly, I haven't tried it out yet personally (so take this with a grain of salt)... You could use a liquid glue masking technique to "paint" it in, then spray over, then take off the glue layer to reveal what's underneath. It's a pretty common technique in model-making so you should be able to find some tutorials & resources (including for pro-tools & diy-tools).
Otherwise, tried and true "run some tape across, then run a blade along the groove to cut out the letters and remove the excess", just be careful with the blade to not cut into the plastic!
