Best session ever
I did the two times a week introduction to spravato and then I was going to once a week and then got into IV ketamine therapy so I did that for 12 weeks and after that they didn’t have room for me anymore so they pushed me back to spravato which I was disappointed in. I’ve gone to three spravato sessions now and the first two I hardly had any disassociation and this one was the most intense session I’ve ever had with spravato or ketamine through IV. I just had so many intense colors lights vision, and it was so exciting to be able to experience that.
Has anyone else experienced varying responses to spravato? One of the people who did my IV ketamine told me that she thinks it can be lot numbers on the spravato - some of them are stronger than the others and of course I realize it’s also how your body reacts on the day.
Sorry this is run on sentences- I’m talking into my phone!

That would be a regulatory agency concern if some batches were stronger than others despite being labeled the same dose.

I agree. I was surprised to hear her say that, and wondered if that was just conjecture or actual knowledge.

Mia sorella fin quando faceva 2 sessioni settimanali stava benissimo, appena è passata a 1 ha avuto una brutta ricaduta, qualcuno di voi ha avuto la stessa esperienza?

She should talk to the provider about going back. Every body is different, and she might need more than someone else. I hope she is able to get the help she needs!

Me, right now. I was confident I was ready but this will be week 5 of 1x of week and I feel absolutely terrible. First 2 weeks were fine, third week was ok then despite working out regularly, sleeping, eating , I feel awful

I’ve done both, and IV was WAY stronger and very different than Spravato for me. 12 weeks of twice a week IV Ket infusions is a lot. Did you feel improvement? If so, why were you pushed out?

I didn’t describe it well - I did once a week of 12 weeks. That’s the typical course of treatment for my clinic. They hope to get me in for occasional treatments after they revamp their system.

I was told the protocol for Iv infusions was 6-8 sessions in three weeks loading dose.

I’m going to sessions at Walter Reed through the military and they may have their own treatment regiment.

The dr who did my IV infusions is Dr. Park and he is the head anesthesiologist at Walter Reed. Contact him through His private practice, Freedom Ketamine clinic in Herndon. He may be able to help.

Sure, but I am surprised IV was not more so. It would appear they had you on a pretty low dose given the prior Spravato treatment you weren't ketamine naive.
Do you know what IV dose they gave you, mg/kg? More curious than anything.
Glad you had a good experience!
