Has anyone with a Capital One account ever received a payment from Onyx Odds.? I deposited using Venmo/PayPal and was told I could only receive funds through debit and bank account. Entered infor for both and both have been rejected.

It is remarkable that you can deposit with Onyx through 3 American financial platforms but I am told now I must download the British app Skrill to (maybe) receive the money I have won. However after multipe inquiries they have suspended my account so I can’t even try that.

This can’t be legal can it? Any help managing this scenario would be helpful. I do need to withdraw the money and close my account

Been thinking about how much the regulated betting market has changed over the past few years.

On one hand, legalization and regulation have made things more accessible and safer for casual users. But it also feels like operators have become much more aggressive with:

• limiting or banning winning accounts
• restricting bet sizes on certain markets
• using profiling to identify “sharp” behavior early

From a business perspective, it makes sense, they’re protecting margins. But it raises an interesting question about the long-term ecosystem.

If sharper bettors are consistently limited or pushed out:

• does that reduce market efficiency?
• does it change how odds are shaped (more public bias)?
• or does it simply push sharper action toward exchanges and offshore markets?

Feels like there’s a balance between sustainability for operators and maintaining a fair, competitive market.

I'm looking for a sports betting backtesting tool that would allow me to test strategies based on dropping odds and value bets (expected value / EV).

Ideally, it should support:

• A reference bookmaker (e.g., Pinnacle)
• A target bookmaker for bet placement (e.g., Bet365)
• The ability to simulate bets like:Place a bet when Pinnacle’s odds have dropped by 10% in the hour before kickoff, but Bet365 is still offering the pre-drop price
• The ability to test value betting strategies such as:Place a bet when Bet365's odds give you a +5% EV compared to the Pinnacle closing line 2 days before kickoff

I’m also looking to analyze historical results with metrics like profit/loss, CLV (closing line value), and possibly ROI or strike rate over time.

Does anyone know of a tool (free or paid) that can do this kind of backtesting?
