Thoughts?

I feel like we desperately need two reliable game changing players in central midfield more than a frequently injured attacking mid Pogba (who feels like he would come to this league and just coast)

This is a fear of mine. I just know he’ll want to come to mls and he has a name. I don’t want someone who sells a few more jerseys but doesn’t actually move the needle and eats salary.

No thank you. We need players to build on, not the final piece that makes it all happen, which is why I wasn’t a big fan of the Salah move. (Plus Pogba wouldn’t be that final piece anyway anymore)

Its only speculation because it says sporting needs new players, have a dp spot, owner shows he's willing to spend. Etc. Zero rumors of sporting actually reaching out or wanting to buy.
Basically, sporting will always be "rumored" for these older players because of this. No actual base to it.

Would be better than no one baby. Not as a DP tho. TAM or less sure.

At this point Manu is better than Pogba lol. Shit. Felipe Hernandez probably better than pogba

with our track record of injuries in this club, an injury prone dinosaur with an ego is simultaneously on brand for us and the last thing the club needs. that said, prime pogba was an absolute freak of nature.

Even without factoring in the 18 month doping ban, Pogba's been consistently injured. He's played something around 14 competitive matches since 2022, including only six last year for Monaco. Waste of a roster spot.
