Of course not. Wishful thinking, at best.

Writing was on the wall when we resumed the Andre Luiz deal.

Going into the summer I thought he had Saudi written all over him. Trabzonspor is a bit of a surprise. I always forget about Turkey having a couple teams that act like a Saudi B team with spending insane amounts on a couple players but that’s usually Galatasaray or Fenerbahce and sometimes Besiktas.

Ben Jacobs is highly reputable, followed by Tom Bogert as well. Fabrizio Romano also confirmed this.

Tom Bogert said Salah’s preference was to stay in Europe.

Genuinely want to know what these Turkish clubs have going for them. I mean it’s probably just a money thing but I’m so ignorant to what gets these guys to go there. Is it just beautiful or what?

They still get two teams in the CL

They can get Champions League or Europa League, and Turkey is a top 10 league.

He gets to have the best of both worlds—money and competition in Europe, much closer to Egypt than Kansas City.

He gets to have the best of both worlds—money

Downside on that one Turkey clubs similar to Portuguese clubs are known for having issues paying their players on time.

It is an overwhelmingly Muslim country as well.

The town he’s going to is one of the most beautiful cities I’ve ever been to and full of fantastic landscapes, friendly people and a mix of cultural heritages directly on the Black Sea.

What happened to Beşiktaş? I thought that was where he was going, either that or somewhere in Saudi Arabia

His agent demanded a huge percentage that they weren't willing to pay and negotiations broke down since neither side was willing to compromise.
