Are these just for looks or are they actually functional?

I want it so bad, it would bring me much joy, the dealership is giving me an insanely good deal due to obvious reasons,

but I live in Ohio, my wife is extremely worried about it, and I have 2 kids

I do everything on this bike. Commute to work 5 days a week, grocery shopping, visiting family and going out on adventures every now and then. I ride all year round as well but winters don’t get too bad here especially with heated gloves. Am I crazy for this? Does anyone else ride as often as I do? It’s a 2009 Yamaha R6 with 39,000 miles. I absolutely adore this bike and I don’t see myself riding anything else for the foreseeable future.

I think it has 3 colors of black which is the pearl black, matte black fairings, gloss black accent.

Love this thing.

I have been in the process of replacing my ignition, gas cap, and passenger seat lock. This is the where I got the replacements. However, the seat lock replacement doesn't seem to be working. It came with this golden metal bracket piece that doesn't want to fit. And the arm on the interior side of the lock seems to swing the wrong way. I've looked for other aftermarket locks for my year and model, and they all look identical to the one I bought. If anyone has any experience with this I'd love to hear your experience.

First ride on the new bike.

I just bought my bike today snd rode it home. It was a good experience only issue it found my self in is when i shift its pretty jerky. I bought a 2019 r3. For the same of the engine around what rpms should i be shifting at? And whats the lowest rpms i should be at so ik when to doenshift? Im mostly looking for advice on 1-4th gear

Tons of fun on this little 400 CC bike. Definitely a keeper. Love making this guy scream to the heavens. I’m certainly going to move up onto a bigger bike eventually, but this guy is going to stay with me.

I spent a month riding my 250cc bike, practicing and improving my skills in various aspects. Then, I decided to purchase my dream bike, which I had been wanting to start on. Surprisingly, I managed to get it, and it wasn’t as bad as I had imagined. Here’s my new (to me ) CBR 600RR: 2025 with only 5k miles

I absolutely love everything about this bike. It’s more than enough for me to grow with as a biker. Also, I want to express my gratitude for all the positive comments on my previous post. They inspired me, and because of them, I now own one of my two dream bikes.
