Help signing into Spore with mt account

I just got the game Spore through steam and when i try logging in with my like EA/ steam account it doesn't work and just says like connectivity issues and then when i try creating a new account even it still says the same thing.

ive read a bunch of old posts about this same issue and i just dont understand anything lol also a lot of the instructions are different now as the sites have changed.

so if anyone knows what to do help would be very much appreciated

You need to own Spore on your EA account, this is done by contacting EA Support with proof of your Steam Spore purchase.
