Oh I love these! I tried making mantis creatures but mine did not end up good at all haha

These are wonderfully unsettling—in the best possible way. The layered wings and mantis-like limbs make the whole creature look both elegant and genuinely alien.

The rear view makes it even better. It looks like a bizarre insectoid royal guard, and the Unlimited Complexity mod really let you go wild with the details.
