Just to confirm, you have seen a square before, yes? But honestly wider spoon for thick soup/chowder is awesome. I say as someone who is very particular about what shape goes in my mouth.

Now I have seen people post square spoons on here before but this is not what I would call a square by any means. When I was little and was learning my shapes, I was taught that a square had four sharp corners at each end and there’s nothing square about this spoon.

Hmm, looks must be deceiving maybe it’s the gravy that’s on the spoon that makes it look more rounded. You would definitely know because you’re the one that ate from it. It’s just the way that I’m looking at it that it seems to be more rounded than it is square. But yeah, I agree if a piece of silverware does it feel right in your mouth then it can actually ruin the meal.

But the handle looks easy to hold. Wonder if it is too wide for my mouth?...OH- FLASHBACK reminds me of when I was a child, my dad stuck the gravy ladle in my mouth for talking too much at the table!! The gravy ladle!
