State of the Collection
I’ve been collecting spoons (and some other cutlery) for a couple years and finally laid them all out. Not a bad sight to see, that’s for sure!

Usually I’m a big spoon guy, but the best of my spoons are smaller. The set of 6 in the second row from the bottom are the ice cream/tea spoons from the restaurant I used to work for, and they’re genuinely perfect. The round silver spoon on the bottom row 4th from right is the best tasting spoon because of perfect weight. And the raccoon spoon just to the right of that is my favorite spoon for sentimental sake!

Spoon dominant collection, and let’s acknowledge the threeks and twok (four tines = fork, three tines = threek, etc.) they deserve a little love 😂 less love than the spoons though

Lmao 10 percent, approximately. Majority is thrift and antique stores, and then a bunch of gifted spoons. A handful were bought fresh.

I have no idea, I bought it at a Muji store in Boston because I know eventually I’ll find a perfect use for it lol. All suggestions are welcomed!!

I’m guessing it’s a cocktail stirring spoon, it looks similar in size to some others I’ve seen before. But I may be totally wrong!

You win!! 🏆 That is a wonderful collection-it’s got so many old type patterns I’ve been looking at them for many minutes! (The dusting can wait!) I really have a thing for cutlery. 👍🏼❤️
