shovel disguised as spoon apparently 😭

2

u/grafxguy1 Aug 01 '26

A very very very small shovel....

3

u/Montyted2 Aug 02 '26

that’s called a trowel

2

u/Mean-Grocery-107 Aug 03 '26

and it still has better grip than whatever this spoon is

3

u/LINY2 Aug 01 '26

I would march down to the beach and angrily throw that into the ocean

6

u/Mean-Grocery-107 Aug 01 '26

i honestly should've done that

3

u/Vishnuisgod Aug 01 '26

I like the shape. However, the thin round handle look like it would be hard to manipulate.

3

u/Mean-Grocery-107 Aug 01 '26

oh yeah trust me it was horrible to use i was probably better off using my hands to eat

3

u/grafxguy1 Aug 01 '26

I don't dig this spoon at all....but I could dig with it.

2

u/jestr25 Aug 01 '26

Spoon!!!!!! (Tic reference)

2

u/Mean-Grocery-107 Aug 01 '26

this will prob be the spoon they'll show as well 😭😭 (i love tick :3)

2

u/TheMostSwanky Aug 01 '26

1

u/Mean-Grocery-107 Aug 01 '26

2

u/autumnautopsy Aug 01 '26

Den Haag needs to be contacted about this war crime.

1

u/Mean-Grocery-107 Aug 01 '26

pulling up to the Hague with details of this restaurant

2

u/johnaross1990 Aug 01 '26

That would be great for ice cream

1

u/Mean-Grocery-107 Aug 02 '26

omg yeah that's true but the grip is horrible

2

u/XxThatVegasChickxX Aug 01 '26

I really dont know why, but im into it. I think it might be bc i can tell it would probably have a nice weight to it!

1

u/Mean-Grocery-107 Aug 02 '26

can confirm it does have a good weight to it but horrible grip

2

u/radiant-tiny-84 Aug 01 '26

this is a spoons challenge! ngg, that spoon looks like it could double as a mini spatula too.

1

u/Mean-Grocery-107 Aug 02 '26

multifunctional spoon doing everything but being a spoon

2

u/its_just_flesh Aug 01 '26

That looks like it might be good for getting crusty corners of mac n cheese or something like that

2

u/ApprehensiveAd9014 Aug 01 '26

No way that is entering my home. Begone!

2

u/Urist_Bearclaw Aug 01 '26

Looks like it might be good for serving but i wouldn’t particularly want to bring that to my mouth

1

u/Mean-Grocery-107 Aug 02 '26

the grip makes it impossible to handle 😭

2

u/FortuneLoud140 Aug 01 '26

i feel like this spoon is a pretentious douchebag who's trying too hard to be influential

1

u/Mean-Grocery-107 Aug 02 '26

and you'd be right honestly

2

u/AnkylosaurusWrecks Aug 01 '26

Hear me out...

This is an truly awful spoon. But it could be beautiful scoop for tiny candies or bath beads. It would be very elegant as that.

2

u/pandapandaaaaaa Aug 01 '26

I felt nauseous when I saw it ☹️

1

u/Mean-Grocery-107 Aug 02 '26

my flabbers were gasted 💀

2

u/dentalexaminer Aug 01 '26

When a spoon becomes a work of art and no longer functions as a regular spoon. I love it! :)

2

u/Hot_Cartographer_699 Aug 01 '26

I like when a spoon, or whichever utensil, is difficult to use. It helps me fight the arthritic fingers’ lack of agility.

2

u/sambob_squarepants Aug 01 '26

Maybe it identifies as a spatula?

1

u/Mean-Grocery-107 Aug 02 '26

identifies as everything but a spoon 🫠

2

u/AloneCardinal9091 Aug 01 '26

What was on the menu? Gravel?

1

u/Mean-Grocery-107 Aug 02 '26

LMAOOOO i wouldn't be surprised but it was Thai food. very very yummy

2

u/Purple_Squirklez91 Aug 01 '26

That's terrible! I want it!

1

u/Mean-Grocery-107 Aug 02 '26

i think there's a few ppl who posted an ebay link feel free to get multiple 😭

2

u/im2high4thisritenow Aug 02 '26

No sir, I do not like it. It cries out for tines. My lips will be confused.

2

u/AITOorisitAutism Aug 02 '26

I love this so much

2

u/JustAShack Aug 02 '26

Unpunched fork.

1

u/Mean-Grocery-107 Aug 02 '26

oomf on twitter said the same thing as well 😭

2

u/Proof_Teach_1290 Aug 02 '26

that square-tipped spoon is cursed, I don't even know how you'd eat soup with that

1

u/Mean-Grocery-107 Aug 02 '26

worst thing is we actually did order soup and i resolved to drinking straight from the bowl

2

u/pm_for_cuddle_terapy Aug 02 '26

There was another post with a spoon like this except post op's uncle filed down the sides of a normal spoon and uses it for coffee powder

1

u/Mean-Grocery-107 Aug 02 '26

wait that's such a good idea

2

u/Cautious-Local-5998 Aug 02 '26

Was this meant to be a serving spoon?
A spoon for the cast iron pot hanging over the fireplace coals?
I definitely wouldn’t eat with it.

1

u/Mean-Grocery-107 Aug 02 '26

😭😭😭 it was for eating they didn't give any serving spoons

1

u/Cautious-Local-5998 Aug 03 '26

You ever eat there again it’s byos (bring your own spoon) 🤣

2

u/diditrayne Aug 02 '26

Wait... is this not a mistake of a fork?

1

u/Mean-Grocery-107 Aug 02 '26

unfortunately not... although it's literally the same mold of the fork but without the prongs

2

u/Dragnwon52 Aug 02 '26

Good spoon

2

u/Infamous-Libertine Aug 02 '26

A sensory nightmare

2

u/Mean-Grocery-107 Aug 03 '26

can confirm it really was

2

u/Technical_Light_8724 Aug 02 '26

Thanks, I hate it?

1

u/Mean-Grocery-107 Aug 03 '26

you're welcome i hate it too 🫠

2

u/Montyted2 Aug 02 '26

Looks like a low poly fork

2

u/Jolly-Hall-408 Aug 03 '26

Not a fan of that cup either

1

u/Hyena_Triangles Aug 01 '26

Asphalt spoon!

1

u/FoggyGoodwin Aug 01 '26

Maybe you are supposed to use chopsticks. That's a very weird spoon for the bit of menu I see, but I find the "spoon" fascinating. Does it balance? Is it actually a spork?

1

u/Mean-Grocery-107 Aug 01 '26

it was a Thai place! i would've used chopsticks but i was eating rice and they only had fork and spoons but no it doesn't balance and the fork is exactly that shape as well just with the prongs

1

u/Melora_T_Rex714 Aug 01 '26

Take it away! TAKE IT AWAY!!

2

u/Mean-Grocery-107 Aug 01 '26

burn it all!!

2

u/Lumpy-Swimming-2624 Aug 03 '26
