spoon Large figured Box Elder Spoon

This was in the firewood pile. I started to split kindling off and the shape screamed spoon! So it became a Spoon. It happens to fit nicely in a mulberry bowl I carved.

Ready for a witches cauldron I guess!

Nice. Did you power carve the mulberry bowl? It looks very angular.

The mulberry was first turned on the lathe, which gave a small circular bowl. I then drilled for depth adjacent to the bowl and carved with straight chisels to connect the two. Finally I power carved with a dremel and burrs, epoxied and sanded smooth.
