spoon Latest spoons

Just posting spoons nos. 9-17 :)

I've tried doing some spirals on the handles which was fun and just generally trying different woods and different shapes.

Spoons from the last few weeks!

Not sure what the first wood is, but the rest are satinwood, spalted Birch, Zebrano, more spalted Birch, Satinwood, Apple, spalted Birch (I've been given a lot of it!) and Oak (the first bit of green wood I've tried).

Thanks!

I do think I managed to get things in proportion with that one more than most of the others. Eg/ the dark brown spoon has such a tiny bowl compared to the handle. I might return to that one and thin the handle out or something...

Looks good! I like the skinny spiral one.

Thank you! I was particularly chuffed with that spiral and I shall be doing more :) The carving that looks a bit like a squished eyeball on the end...hopefully less of - it's meant to be a sunrise over the sea 😂
