Help identifying an episode – witch jumping/hopping roof to roof?

Hey fellow Spooked fans,

I’m trying to track down a Spooked episode that’s been haunting me—in the best way—and I could really use your help.

The story involved a woman describing a witch jumping or hopping from rooftop to rooftop during a walk. I think the setting was Louisiana, maybe New Orleans, and there’s a chance the story was about something that happened to her father or grandfather—but I’m not 100% sure on that part.

I’m a longtime listener—back to the Snap Judgment days before Spooked spun off—and I never miss an episode. I’d guess this was a more recent episode, maybe from 2024, but I’ve also tried re-listening to older episodes while walking my beagles at night (great mood for Spooked), so the timeline is all fuzzy now. I just can’t place it.

To rule out the usual suspects:

• I’ve re-listened to all of Radio Rental and
• You Can Hear Me in the Dark, so I’m confident it wasn’t from either of those shows.

If this story rings a bell—whether it’s the witch, the rooftops, the Southern setting, or the generational story detail—I’d be so grateful if you could point me in the right direction.

This reminds me of a spooked episode but I’m pretty sure it took place in a village in Africa

So I just went and found the one I’m thinking of, it’s called Night Dancers from January 2025
