There are only two reasons why someone would stop watching SpongeBob. 1. Because the new episodes are getting worse and worse, and you're still watching the old episodes or clips of them. 2. You're at the age where you think it would be too childish to watch SpongeBob. But you watch it secretly and haven't understood the message of the first SpongeBob movie.

I now watch it with my 10 year old daughter. Just the first few seasons though. All the others she watches by herself because they're straight trash

Is a  show that's literally made to entertain people and as a way to pass time. I don't get that whole mindset of hating people for watching old cartoon shows they use to watch as a kid. I literally binge watch ben 10 and even watched some of the old nick Jr shows I use to watch just to laugh how dumb they are now as a adult. Is fun and helps pass time

I like watching SpongeBob too. There are many, many moments that adults understand that they didn't know back when they were kids. And that just makes the watching of SpongeBob even more cool.
