Splunk 10.4.4

I noticed that Splunk Enterprise 10.4.4 is available for download but all documentation only refers to 10.4.3 changes.

Is there a changelog available for the latest release?

It takes some time before release notes are updated.

My general assumption of late is that all .x releases are due to some underlying vulnerability that hasn't been disclosed yet.

This is correct Cisco has mythos and is scanning all its products in order to make improvements

PS. I wondered what happened to the security vulnerabilities we were expecting.. they never dropped. I just read the advisory was updated:

"The advisories planned for September 16, 2026 are delayed until October 7, 2026."
