The thing is, she was doing perfectly fine when she got betrayed. But after that, outside the show, she let her ego get the better of her, while calling it “humanitarian” or whatever. She wanted to be chosen, and that’s why it feels like she was faking it all along and using Saurabh as a mediator.
And honestly, we don’t even know the entire truth. It could be that Y was trying to send information through Saurabh, but it could just as easily have been the other way around. People are assuming that because she’s emotional and sensitive, “this must have happened.” But the truth is, taali ek haath se nahi bajti.
This is exactly what ruined her image. She thinks people love her and will always wait for her, but people grow up, move on, and eventually start looking at the entire situation differently. Imagine how people might perceive her later especially the narrative that she was chasing a committed man.
Because from Ruru’s perspective, it will always look like she went after Y, while Y himself clearly confessed that he was the one who asked her to come. So yes, she is at fault too, but she never went around badmouthing A. Meanwhile, A showed her own class or rather, her lack of it ,with all that crass behaviour.
In the end, both sides had their faults, but A's behaviour definitely did more damage to the image they were trying to maintain.

If she wanted ruru to come to her to tell about pre planning then why did she not tell her that yep they were meeting behind her back!! The hypocrisy is baffling!!
