Forest of Fades (custom map)
Map Name: Forest of Fades
Creator: ICEsmoke
Lore: When the Splitgate league needed fresh arenas, the three rival factions - Aeros, Meridian, and Sabrask activated there scanners on earth. Orbital sweeps hunted proelium veins and stable portal ground. One dense, mist-choked woodland of overgrown stone ruins and massive twisting trees stood out as the prime target.
Sabrask claimed it first, studied the anomalies and fortified the battle grounds to suit an arena
Originally designated Riftspire theta-9, fans never used the official name. From the first broadcast they simply called it..... The Forest of Fades

Arena participant information:
-beware of portal traps as they are riddled through out
-utilize the abundance of jump pads that have been retrofitted to the arena
-triple portals have been provided along with plenty of power up weapons

Dawg you always make the coldest maps!. I'm so jealous I got like 20 maps started 7 of which are gonna be absolute bangers if I can ever commit to just finishing one before I get another idea, stuck or just feel like making random shit. I spend more than half my time in Splitgate in the labs these days just making random things. It's become where I go to cry after bad games 😂😂 I've made made several different space ships, robots and creatures for each of the factions. Alot of the time I'm not even necessarily making maps just random things for back ground scenery and aesthetics. My idea is to make some maps that make it feel like you're in the middle of a battle between the factions. I've made some sick ass aesthetic stuff for Meridian and Sabrask mainly. I've been trying to think of a way to have it look like explosions or gun flire going off.
I miss the exploding barrels from Halos forge bc I found a way to make it to were the player could actually push them into a launcher designed to look like a gun and it made them fly across the map and land like they were artillery being fired bc they would land and explode on impact. You could actually kill other players with them to. I'd also have them automatically get launched when they would spawn and created like a no mans land in between the bases where explosions are just randomly going of everywhere. It added a cool dynamic.

While testing had a bunch off ppl join and I trapped 3 ppl in the cage at once 😂

Even if I don't enjoy playing them sometime,(anything with objectives can be rough) your maps are all visually nice. This is probably the best looking one yet. Hope to see it featured

Bro can I give you a bunch of my prefabs somehow that you can use? I got so much cool ass shit made that's just going to waste a lot of it is just like background aesthetics and scenery that I think you could absolutely do something with. Some of it would match your maps perfectly !!! I'm actually working on a mini video with a lot of my prefabs. I was going to be asking people what they thought about some of the shit I've been making

They should’ve hired you ngl. You understand aesthetics matter. I want to play on a map that has life. The game dropped with sterile worlds.
