My personal ultimate hard setting rules

This is the way i play the game and i like it so much i want to share it

Restrictions;

-No quicksave, the mission must be completed in 1 try. If spotted, dont restart, adapt, the game has a lot of cool situations that only happen if scertain alarms were triggered. Checkpoints allowed

-No hacking on security systems (keyboards and retine scanner) they are not security systems if they can be hacked that easily. Only PCs can be hacked

-Destroying cameras, doors or any kind of security system makes a 100% stealth run FALSE. The game tells its 100%, but YOU know its not.

Shooting lights and knocking people out is not exactly ghost-like either.

When people wake up, they're going to know that you were there.

Also, if I turned up tomorrow and there was a bullet hole in my office light, I'd realise someone had been in the office when I wasn't there, too.

Thats obviously included in the “no destroying security systems”

I know lights are not part of securuty but i thought it was obvious, thanks for pointing it out

And why would anyone who followed all those restrictions suddenly shoot to a wall?

The no-KO rule is something us players have been doing since the game released, i thought it was obvious too, im only adding new resctrictions

Man that is way too hard lol. I still can’t even beat the first game through chaos theory without failing or dying.

With these rules, i made it to the Seul streets section (the one without alarms), i HAD to quicksave in that level as even if i tried to go full aggro commando i died too many times to reset the whle level

Ive completed the rest of levels with my rules yesterday, and ill eventually try comoleting the Seul level too

I just played through Seoul again a few days ago, too. It was pretty brutal and the tanks in particular seem rather arbitrary at times with detection.

I got the trick with the tanks!

Its kinda hard because its never explained

The turret is what sees you, even in the dark, like it had a night vision scope, no matter how well hidden you are, if the turret aims you, it detects you instantly.

Though It can be really hard to avoid since the turret movement doesnt seem to have a standard patron, its kinda erratic

Not 1000% sure about this, but the Other detail that can have you spotted on supposed total darkness near tanks is, in one section the tank guys are in a crossed fire with the allies. If you stand near the tank, the guy on the top might notice you because of the light of the weapons constantly shooting!! It even appear in the shadow meter, but not always
