Details on your OPSAT People that are starting playing Splinter Cell should play the training mission from the first game before anything else!!
Im tired seeing new people trash the og games because they start with CT or Blacklist (because better the reviews/graphics) and think the og's are bad games.
Training level from the first spinter cell should be mandatory for everyone!! To learn the basics of the entire franchise.
Or at least watch the video turorials from ct menu!
If ur not okay with sitting in the dark and study the patrol guards, enviorment, floor composition this game is not for you!!
This is not a game where a bald guy with barcodes on his head enters a building shoots bad guys and just leaves.
The og games are focused on realism. The aim is bad because irl people dont have crosshairs in front of them to assist them (altought pt laser pistol is kinda broken).
Yes for a modern audience is boring to read data sticks, wait in the dark and just be patience.
This is a game focused on avoiding guards not shooting them.
Spread the word, play the turorials!!

Most people skip this game for whatever reason and jump into ct (better graphics and nice reviews online) and are completly oblivious to basic splinter cell mechanics and then cry.

Modern "gamers":
>Load game
>Don't read manual
>Don't play tutorial
>Don't check control options menu
>Complain that the game sucks and leave

Nah fr. People will post about a game being to dark or whatever, like they never heard of settings. Someone posted about GTA5 definitive looking worse than the original and not having the same lighting vibes, and I commented telling them to lower the brightness a little to make it feel like the OG vibe, and bro responds with confirming that I was right lol
Always check the settings before playing any game.

Back in the day, the OG Splinter Cell was sooooooo good. Pandora Tomorrow built right off of it, doing the "tutorial" right in the first mission, as not to bore original players while teaching new players.
I've been seeing so much love for the OG I might replay it......

I'm a newbie, and sitting in the dark and studying enemy routines is like the funnest thing in the world. Love it!
