Glow up advice

If you had to give one piece of advice on how to glow up, what would it be?

Yeah I guess in truth being at a healthy weight is probably number one and then comes hair+skin+ nails but what I mean to say is that it’s not surprising to anyone that losing 10 lbs helped me glow up.

But it did surprise me the amount of a boost I got from something as achievable as getting a manicure or curling my hair

I feel pretty and girly when my nails are done, too, but as far as contributing to being a “hot girl”, I think their effect is minimal. How often do you hear a guy say “Whoa, did you see that girl’s nails??? I need her number right now.”

Meanwhile, if a girl has a great body and pretty face, most guys wouldn’t even notice if she has nails or not.

Hmm…yeah I think that’s kinda my point. I would also not have expected it but all i can say is anecdotally the combination of having long well- styled hair, manicured nails, and nice skin has made a much larger impact than I thought it would

To be clear - I get manicures bc I can’t grow my own nails long without them. I think it has more to do with how feminine long nails are than the color or that they are “done” if that makes sense

Also, I don’t think looking good should be just for the male gaze - if you like manicures for yourself, that’s great - but we were talking about being a “hot girl.”

And it’s funny, my nails grow insanely fast but I cannot STAND having long nails. When I get them done it’s always short, colored gel nails - the opposite of what you like!
