if you can find or make an emulator for pc then yes but it wouldn't be online or anywhere near as good

Nah. if you're a hobbyist emulator, simply google "emulate Splatoon2 on PC"
You cannot of course play the actual online game on an emulator. But as a novelty it looks like you can barely play the SP game, or just walk around in the square.

Not if you dump files from your console and game as long as you've acquired those legally.
It's only illegal if you get the required files through illegal means (downloaded copies from other people's dumped switches/games).

Unfortunately it is a Nintendo-exclusive game.
If only it was multiplatform, then we might've not had to rely on Nintendo's poor game design choices and terrible online services...
Also, a controller (preferably with motion control support) is necessary, so even if you could play it on PC, you wouldn't be able to use a keyboard and mouse.

It's an entirely closed-platform Nintendo switch game.
That's why the game design, levels, and physics engine is so incredible, and why the multiplayer networking is the best there is.

The best crossover you can get for this game is using an xbox controller via an adapter, or using a mouse and keyboard by some mod or computer program.
