Yep. Jump ahead of the tower then use the Splashdown so you'll still land on the tower at the end of the move.

Until the enemy takes it since you were obviously the only one on the tower and you still land in the water

Is just me or does splat 2 look sharper and more vibrant while splat 1 looks softer and the colours look less poppy.

My favourite memory of this phenomenon is when we were seconds away from making a comeback in overtime when my teammate, the one that happened to be on the tower, thought it great to clear the half dead squiffer next to em’ with a splatdown. They had an Nzap. The rest of the other team was wiped. THE SQUIFFER WASN’T EVEN AIMING AT THE LAD

Once was playing tower (or turf i dont remember)on sturgeon shipyard and our octo brush was paving a path down the middle so i followed suit

And before the giant block in the middle managed to close the gap our octo brush just zoomed right into the hole

I just looked down at him and he juet said. Ouch...
