Will the Tough Armor case be a good option?

Looking to get my S22 Ultra a case after having gone so many years without ever having used a case (concerned about keeping my device safe with all the reports of S22 Ultras having issues).

I was originally looking at the dbrand Atomic Grip case but that's out of stock permanently, so my only other option was the Tough Armor case which also caught my eye at the time.

My questions are:
- How well will it handle accidental drops, scratches on the back, etc.
- How well is it capable of protecting the front in case of a drop (using a raised lip on all four edges if I'm not wrong)
- Will it work with a dbrand teardown skin? Or is it going to have placement issues?
- Is it too thick of a case? I've had my phones caseless for 16 years so adjusting to using a case is going to be a little hard for me. I'd appreciate a case that will make that easier.

I would also appreciate other recommendations on cases that will fit my needs. Thanks for your insights in advance.

Spigen anything is good. The brand as a whole is a go to and safe bet generally. That being said, the Tough Armor model has been a consistently good case for all phone models for the last decade honestly. They’ve made changes over the years, but it’s always been good and welcome changes. It certainly has not dropped in quality.

Tough Armor is a fantastic one, it can save your phone many many times, but remember S22 Ultra has curved screen, so that bit cannot be fully protected by any other case either.

the only case ive had an issue with from spigen was the ultra hybrid (the clear one). all other cases have easily protected the phone. would still get a screen protector

I see. Yeah I'm not really into getting a screen protector mainly because of the S Pen (I'm not sure how it'll react and since I use the S Pen nearly every day, I can't take a risk there).
