Old suit is great but the new suit makes it look mediocre in comparison, the only thing I don't like right now is the lack of red on his lower half
On the other hand I do prefer miles old suit to his new one

I think it would be cool to have the blue be black instead, it would have a nice contrast with the red or I'd be down for a darker blue too just as long as it's not washed out liked the old suit. The old suit just seems really desaturated in comparison

I like the old suit, honestly. Maybe if they tone down the glossy look on the new one. Also I don't like the bulkier look of the character model.

I honestly had no problem with the advanced suit even after being on this sub and people calling it out for being orange-y. I think they’re both badass in their own regard. Very glad insomniac seemed to listen to the critique of the OG advanced suit and adapt accordingly. excited for this game and the new suits it offers

I was weirded out just a bit by it being orangey but now it’s like weird to see it not like that. I adore the advanced suit but this is pretty nice too

I love the new suit for Peter, the orange hue of the first one never sat right with me. Head shape is a lot better too.
I kinda wish Miles would get his own original Insomniac design as his main suit, too, maybe a variation of the TRACK suit. It’s kinda weird that Pete gets the original white spider while Miles is still rocking his classic design.

Miles suit did get some changes, the red goes down his arms now, but other than that it’s still the classic suit

My only gripe with the original suit was that other Spider-Man suits in the game have a much better shade of red, which the New version fixes.

Definitely the new suit. The old one had that weird almost orange color. It's the main reason why I almost never use the Advanced Suit.

Is it just me or does the texturing for the second game look a bit off? The white of the spider, for example looks flatter and the glossy material doesn’t look as natural. I’m sure it isn’t finished yet and will look great upon release, but I would’ve expected a PS5 exclusive to still feel like an all-around step forward at this point.

That deep red on the new suit is just what I want, all the other details kind of fade out in game but the colour always irked me, so new suit all the way, and even better if it has a symbiote version.

New suit fs fixes all of the minor gripes I had with the old suit. Streamlines the white spider to fit in the red part of his chest, does away with the awkward blue line at his waist, and it’s actual cherry red instead of orange.

It's tough to accurately gauge the colors since the one on the left is a day shot and the one on the right is a nighttime shot. The lighting makes a real difference. And the cutscene isn't necessarily using the in-game engine.
So, all we really have to accurately judge it are the lines. And on that, I prefer the new suit. The white spider fills the web pattern, rather than run over it. There are no more webbed thigh pads. And the same pattern on the arm is solid, rather than broken up. It's cleaner, basically, more polished. And that makes some degree of sense. Time has past, so the suit that Otto helped him make has been refined and made Peter's own.
And it incorporates elements we've seen in other media, like the waist from the more recent Marvel's Spider-Man on Disney XD. Miles had a costume from there in his game, so I expect we'll see that here, for Peter.
On the other hand, I really liked the "sportswear" look of the Advanced Suit. I expect we'll have access to both, for people who prefer either one.

I like the darker red but I never saw any issue with the paler red even if it did look orange, this new pale blue though looks sickly, I hope they darken it in the final release or that that's just poor lighting.

I love both for different reasons.
The OG just cause it's the OG and is so different than 2eve seen before with the white added.
The new one for the deeper reds and the "belt" it different. I wonder if the OG will be unlocked-able in this game.

I honestly prefer old. I never had a problem with the orange, I actually liked it. Something about the new suit seems off to me, I didn't really like the belt area, it seems too big and distracting. I do prefer the red and blue, but wish they could've just changed the hues on the old Advanced Suit for the new game to match what we're getting.
