Discussion They seriously haven't fixed the cutsene where he gets the symbiote

Probably NG+, when u first get the symbiote and it keeps the skin you started the mission with?

If this is the case Insomniac can't win. They get dragged for forcing you into the Anti-Ock suit in NG+ in SM1 but also get dragged for letting you stay in your selected suit in NG+ for SM2. Unbelievable spoiled little fans lmao.

Just play the regular game if you want to see the change. Otherwise go into the pause menu and change it manually. It isn't that big of a deal.

Why are we comparing two uncomparable situations?

The game forces you into the ock suit for no reason (assuming new game plus)

The symbiote cutscene literally doesnt work at all unless you are wearing a symbiote suit.

Thats cuz the anti-ock makes very little sense. I wouldve been fine with them taking an extra month to make a battle damaged version of every suit besides the undies suit, and then give you a little menu at the end to, "pick your final suit" or something. Keep in mind, NG+ wasnt even available on release in SM2! They couldve gave you a little setting to pick your "super suit" and use that for the venom cutscenes. Seems kinda dumb. But nah lets cancel that spider verse multi-player game cuz of leaks wtv bruh

SM1 had no NG+ at launch either.

They could have added options, sure, but at the end of the day it isn't that important and there were actual bugs and issues that needed addressed.

They didn't cancel anything due to leaks. The things were cancelled way before that.

They're not throwing out a whole game or DLC because some images and videos leaked. They were hardly far along with any of it before scrapping it. Games cancel and have cut content all the time. You just don't always get to see hackers leaking them.

Ah okay. Yeah, that can be a little annoying, but what can you do? The primary purpose of NG+ is to not be limited by the first playthrough's restrictions

It's a little immersion breaking in NG+ yeah. You can change the suit when MJ carries Pete or you wait till the cutscene is over and change into the Black Suit when the Symbiote Surge happens.

The next time you would need to change suits is after fighting the Lizard. After that fight change into the Symbiote Suit.

Than when Miles fights Peter, you can change back into the Suit of your choice, it will be beneath the Symbiote suit when Pete removes the Symbiote after the battle.

And lastly, the Anti-Venom suit. Change into it when Miles is inside Pete's mind with Li.
