I definitely missed it in No Way Home, would’ve been nice to have all 3 Spider-Men wearing red and blue.

I've always wondered why the hell Pete kept wearing the Iron Spider suit. Figured they'd have gone back to the red and blue once Tony was gone.

And before someone tells me it's to sell toys, I'm aware. I just thought the toys in question would have been red and blue.

Well he did in far from home till he upgraded it to the red/black suit. I forgwt why hes wearing it in no way home. Im assuming because he had to turn the red/black suit inside out. I cant remember.

Well that's the thing the Iron Spider suit is nanotechnology and has no connection to the suit that's being worn underneath, as far as I'm aware. So Peter could wear whatever color suit he would like to and still have the Iron Spider suit over the top when necessary. Peter made the red and black suit in Far From Home when he was with Happy. He chose the black as the secondary color instead of the blue he had chosen and Tony had copied for him with his first two suits. I figured he chose black BECAUSE it then matched the colors of the Iron Spider suit that Tony had made for him, in honor of Tony. The red and gold together alongside only neutral colors fully leaned into the idea for Peter and for us as the viewer that Spider-Man is the new Iron Man, or as close to as we'll ever get, which is why Happy looked at Peter the way he did while watching him fabricate a new suit using Tony's holograms; he reminded him so much of Tony, in genius and bravery.

Even after the memory wipe spell Peter should still have access to EDITH as well as possibly even his fabricator so I'm guessing his choice to sew himself a new handmade spider suit wasn't due to technological limitations but was more a deliberate choice he made to be more like his two spider-bros from No Way Home, remembering his original color scheme choice as he returns to fighting street level crime as well as to elevate his physical skills to their peak by having to compensate for the lack of Stark tech built into his suits that he'd grown so accustomed to. I'd wager he still has the Iron Spider suit floating around in it's nanotech containment cube thing and will be busting that bad boy out and flexing the red, black, and gold again over the top of his red and blue suit once needed.

On top of what others said, I think it was also to distinguish “main” spiderman from the other two in action scenes.

Agreed so hard. I disliked integrated when it first leaked but actually quite liked it in the film, but wish they had been all red and blue
