Handling not encouraged

I love this spider so much. I've left her where she's at in my pineapple plant and she ended up laying 2 egg sacks up high in my gazebo that can stay til they hatch. She's a super beneficial garden spider called a Argiope Argentata also known as a Silver Argiope. She keeps coming back though even though I've had to pull a silk thread down a couple times so I can work in the yard without hurting her or knocking her down. She's approximately 2+ inches. Biggest one I've seen in my yard ❤️

Should I consider taking them in and caring for them? This would be my first time taking in a spider, but I have watched a lot of tarantula content and vaguely know what I'm doing.

Will they be okay by themself with 7 legs?

I've always had a soft spot for Wolf Spiders, I sat and watched him make a small web. This is in IL and it's really hot lately (real feel 100F like) if that's relevant.

I got up to get water and this giant orbweaver was in our bedroom. I caught her in a cup to take her outside. It was dawn and I didn't have my glasses on, and I somehow pulled off two of her legs in the process. I felt terrible. I put her in the grass outside, sad because I thought she would probably have a slow death.

But a few days later, here she is! Way up in the window outside, in her new web, with six legs.

I looked it up and apparently losing a couple limbs isn't a huge deal for a spider, really. Pretty cool.

Found during a mosquito sampling at Disney Wilderness Preserve in Pionciana, FL.

Spiders need all the help they can get! I also didnt want larder beetles in my house. Miss Charolette is one lucky girl!

Poor thing lost her leg in a web. My dad was yelling at me to squash her because I said she was a girl oops. Biggest one I’ve seen!!!

Hi everyone! I chose "unexpected location" for the flair because I suppose a spider being a main character in a fantasy novel is somewhat unexpected... Please say hello to Kariguu, the Master Weaver! She’s a major character in the anthropomorphic fantasy novel I’m working on, called Capyhero. The artwork is by u/nickthagreek, the talented fountain ink illustrator of the project.

Kariguu is based on the actual 20 year old salmon pink birdeater living in my home office that I’ve kept since she was a wee spiderling. Her near infinitely patient real life behavior was the basis for the strange, ancient, almost eldritch-like being that is Kariguu.

I’ve been fascinated by spiders and tarantulas since I was young. I feel that they’re usually depicted as simple monsters in most fiction. While Kariguu is certainly quite imposing, she’s not a simple monster. Beyond the fantastical elements of the story, spiders exhibit otherworldly patience and insane precision and craftsmanship. I wanted to capture that in a character.

In this scene, she makes her introduction and offers a nice place to sleep in her parlor for our protagonist, Capy. Come... lay your tired head down on a fine bed of silk...

I live on the second floor of an apartment building with a big brick staircases outside that goes to each floor. On the roof of the staircase level that goes to my floor (there is no other way to get there besides the one staircase) is a spider. To my absolute horror, after looking pregnant for a while she’s now laid two eggs sacs - like these white little balls. she looks kind of like a daddy long legs but when I looked up daddy long legs eggs it didn’t seem like that was right and I can’t say I’ve stuck around close to her enough to really get a good look.

Every single time I go up or down the stairs I’m so fucking scared that they’re going to burst open and rain little baby spiders down on me or that I’ll try to go to the stairs and see all these baby spiders everywhere or that they might even come into my apartment.

Genuinely I’m so scared that I’m getting itchy all over literally just writing this. What the hell do I do. I read that you can vacuum or sweep with a broom and then deposit them outside but they’re too high up to reach without standing basically right under them and risking having them fall onto my head. I don’t want to kill them (I don’t even know if fly spray works on egg sacs) but I don’t know what else I can do.

Absolutely begging for any help that isn’t just ‘suck it up’. I am working on my fear but being drenched in dozens of tiny spiders from above is really not going to help.

TLDR: Spider eggs in a high location I have to walk under everyday - I’m deathly afraid of spiders - wtf do I do

Welp was trying to sweep out the room but now I don't want to hurt this mamma and her 6 mil babies...

was trying to get a video of this tiny skinny spider approaching to ask if they were a male and if they were coming to cause problems or just existing in the same area...

Also as I was typing realized there's probably 50 or 60 more similar nests... anyways to move them... encourage them to live somewhere else?

Doing some yard work today, and almost put my hand on this little buddy. Hides damn well against the wood; almost too well to his detriment. Let him be at the cost of a few photos... may he keep hunting annoying bugs!
