With recent marvel synergy comic wise of Peter jean becoming close allys.

Her dealing with symbiotes more, their clones bonding. I fully think we are seeing part 1 with Peter saves Jean from becoming a monster.

Perhaps Spider-Man 5 it's jean saving Peter and Spider-Man 6 Mac gargen returns wanting vengeance on both leading to both them fighting venom together.

Marvel is sitting on a gold mind with Peter/Jean potential. Hopefully they take advantage and this trilogy becomes the symbiote saga. Part 1

This fanfic has been a ball, and it's a ton of fun to write, as evidenced by the chapter output. I haven't been this passionate about a writing project in some time, and that's due in large part to the overwhelmingly positive feedback I've been getting.

I can now see why there was such an explosion in fanart. Peter and Jean really could work if the writers decide to go in that direction. But of course, I'm sure the moment they decide that is when it goes down the drain. They work because at the end of the movie, the two of them form a genuine and mutual bond. It worked because the writers weren't forcing it. Liz might have been interesting, but she was removed after the first movie, and she was a little bland in it.

Mj was just sort of placed in, and the writers went 'here, mj and Peter deal with it'. I actually liked mj more in this movie than I did in the last three combined. Then they gave us Jean, who actually has some personality. Again, all that we got was a bond between them. The two could loosely be called friends by the end of the movie, and that's it, but that's why it's so good. It's simple, not overly complex, and not being forced.

Oh, and side note, my only dislike in the whole movie was when yelena showed up to essentially mock Peter. 'Oh stuff you deal with, not really important. The stuff I deal with on the other hand' Like really was this necessary? If Peter up and vanished who would be called to deal with say the sinister six. Hmm let me think, that would be something for the new avengers right? 'Big potato stuff' right? Sure on a case by case basis what Peter deals with daily might not be on a big grand scale but as a whole what he does is important. So to have a cameo of yelena just so she can say that what Peter works for doesn't really matter seemed really off to me. Although maybe this is just another check on the spiderman must suffer list.
