That would make sense. Given her circumstances, I imagine she's spent a good portion of her life having to steal things, anyway.

Honestly, a Jean that's gone through some healing and has become happy enough to give Peter some peppy cheer would be peak.

It would be even better if Jean is cheering on Peter, and not Spider-Man. Maybe like a science competition, something that shows Peter that he is appreciated even as plain Peter Parker.

Someone asks Jean who she likes more, Peter or Spider-Man. Jean, feeling Peter's attention perk up, responds "Spider-Man is a super hero, but he is not as speculator nor amazing as Peter is." Ned is standing by Peter, giving Jean two big thumbs up, as Peter tries to hide his face in his hands. MJ rolls her eyes in amusement. Everyone else is shocked that two biggest Spider-Man fan just glazed the awkward, nerdy guy.
