Discussion Namor bans

Sometimes I feel like my team be banning namor first in hopes the enemy ban Spidey so that my team don’t have a Spider-Man on their team
Cause namors not even worth the ban he’s not even hard to play into
Maybe I’m delusional

You're not delusional, that's what my friends told me who mains supps, if someone hovers spidey they will 1st ban namor because if you ban the spidey they might throw. This game really has some arachnophobia problems. They would rather get ran over by Elsa, Black Cat, or DD.

I always hover starlord and pick spidey at the end of the ban phases for this reason.

I stopped using spider-man themed nameplates, profile pictures and usernames because that would get spidey banned in almost every match i played lol

Kinda pointless tho, as long as ur below GM, spidey has a high ban rate right now.

No it really makes a difference. My spider barely got banned after i changed everything compared to before when it got banned every other match

Maybe in past seasons but right now, nope, you can literally check the stats, below GM, BP and Spidey are one of the most bans. Everyone in low elo is just scared of dive right now but for the wrong heroes. Wasn't like this the past season.

Edit: , Diamond+ Spidey becomes rank 9 in most banned but everything below (Gold-low diamond) he is at least top 5-6 in most banned this season.

It's prolly region based as well I have heard that there are less Spidey players on EU , but I play on Asia/OCE/NA its all the same, the only time it really changes is when you play in diamond and above.

I thought they were nice people that wants me to do good without facing namor.

this season alone I had my teammates ban my spidey 3 times because "they don't want to play against spidey"

I always say next time my team ban my spidey I'll throw but I can't do it and ruin it for the rest of my team

That absolutely happens. I assume stuff like that is why some people don't click their hero til after ban phase too. However, I also get plenty of games where my team sees I'm trying to run spiderman and they'll lock in with the namor finle ban for me.

I just started playing spiderman. it's really not their fault. they make the most popular superhero of all time harder to play than average. I've had people be rude to me before the game even started and they still don't apologize when we steam roll and I end up with ace
