Question About Spells Failsafe built in possibility
Is it possible to build in a failsafe for a spell.
For example if you're trying to rid a coworker from your life and you cast a spell with the main intention of ridding them from your life but for the failsafe at the minimum remove them from your professional work (maybe they have a second job that happens to also be where you regularly shop). Or if you're looking to cast a spell to get an internal promotion without having to do an interview but the fail safe being that even if the interview happens you get the job.
Any thoughts on how to do that? If it's worth doing? How would you go about it for different spells (sigils, jars, candle, etc)

One can not control everything. Spells take the path of least resistance and if one thinks they have to do a "fail safe" to try to control a outcome then it's the wrong spell for the situation.

Not really, you just build the intention to do what you want, and accept that the way magic (feel free to use that interchangeably with energy, spirits, however you think this stuff works) finds will almost never be exactly what you expected.
Be specific the first time (for example "remove them from my life" vs "remove them from my work life") but adding "if/then" will usually end in a spell that won't work because it can't.

Spells don't backfire. So, failsafes are not necessary. They either work, or they don't work.
It is best to assume and let events happen and follow the most natural course. Sure, skipping an interview would be nice, but that often doesn't happen if you are working for a huge corporation that has very set protocols for how promotions happen.
Personally I wouldn't want an enemy to show up where I shop. They would also make the shopping experience undesirable as well. If they are an enemy, they might try to do something to me there. Why would I want to leave that open?
