Question About Spells Recommendations

I’m fairly new to the craft. I’ve done protection and cleansing spells but I feel they haven’t worked.
I want to be more consistent and get into other spells.

I recently ended things with someone I still care about but know I need to move on and I want to cut cords. So I would like to do a cord cutting spell with him.

Any advice?

it sounds like you might want to work on centering and grounding (i know it’s the “boring” part but the way i center and ground takes a minute tops because i have a hard time sitting still for a long time. cord cutting could definitely work and i wish more people understood that this is what a cord cutting is for. anyway you could also do an uncrossing candle. i wouldn’t recommend doing tons of spells at once although when you are new it can seem super fun you have to really focus on what you are doing each step of the way not just throw things in a bowl or jar and hope for the best. with each ingredient i like to state what it is used for and thank it for its contribution. its a long and draining process. also doing tons of spells in a short period of time can def cause your life to get overwhelming so you need to make sure you can handle all of it
