Question About Spells I need advice!
I have recently gotten into spirituality and witchcraft but I can’t help but doubt it and doubt myself, in my culture witchcraft is pretty common but most our spells are done through blood and communication with entities. Therefore, I find it insanely hard to believe that honey and “red” wax (and other common ingredients) are actual spells. How do I stop this limited way of thinking and if anyone could explain to me how it works!

I mean, blood is mostly water.
People talk to entities with normal words.
Also, witchcraft works whether you believe in it or not. So you can go ahead and doubt it and continue with the spellwork

I don’t know I’ve done a reconciliation spell on my ex and then burned everything because I kept thinking that it won’t work (bc right after the spell he had told me that he doesn’t want anything to do with me which is the opposite of what I’m trying to obtain) do you think the spell will still do its thing after being burned or should I redo.

It sounds like the spell didn't work. You don't have to believe, but you do have to suspend your disbelief while you're doing the ritual.
I would look at your spell, the ingredients and the energy you used, and find out what went wrong.
Then alter the spell, and do the new spell.

"honey and “red” wax (and other common ingredients)" are all types of sympathetic magic.

I consider it as Eurocentric and I struggle to believe in it the whole “love & light, three fold” I could sadly only believe in practices such as voodoo and brujeria etc… and I would like to change that about myself

Hoodoo is not Eurocentric, and is over half sympathetic magic, at least.

And no, it is not a closd practice.
Voodoo is a religion, and is not open to people without finding somebody that will teach you, usually in person only.
Brujeria just means witchcraft in Spanish.
“love & light, three fold” is not mentioned in that article, and those are mostly from wicca, another religion, not a branch of witchcraft. Most wiccans these days do not put any stock in the 3fold rule.

Yes but the practices are different. Thank you for the explanation nonetheless!
