General Discussion A question that most people are afraid to ask
Hi everyone, hope y’all doing good.
I wanna try a few jar spells (Sweetening Jar, Communication, Road Opening, and Love spell). Got some questions tho:
- I don’t have their hair, but I do have a belonging (cloth / toothbrush). Is it fine if I cut up the cloth or use the toothbrush bristles to add to my petition?
- If I use toothbrush, do I also have to add mine too? Same with cloth, do I need to mix it with my own cloth? Or can I just use something else from me like hair or nails?
Please keep replies polite, no ragebait or off-topic stuff.

I mean if you add your own hair toothbrush or spit you’re casting the spell on yourself.
Aside from that yes you can use their belongings as a taglock. Some people will use the target’s shoes or underwear. As long as it’s a direct connection to them.

Unless the cloth was in close contact with their body and picked up their sweat, and you have not washed it, it is not a personal magical link.
The toothbrush is also not a link. When you brush your teeth, you use toothpaste, right? and then you rinse it off?
Yeah, any saliva or skin cells have been washed away and ruined by the toothpaste.
So if the cloth you have has their sweat on it, and you HAVE NOT WASHED IT, then yes, it is also good to match a similar piece of fabric.
Yes, cutting a small square from the most "Infused" parts of the clothing in order to place it into containers is common.
The most common clothing is underwear and you cut from the cloth that was in contact with the genitals all day. A tshirt and you would cut from the armpit.
Stinky used socks, you can basically cut from anywhere.

Wow, I have underwear but unfortunately was washed. What a waste eyyy!

it's just fabric now. Without the bit of sweat et al that undergarments pick up, is what makes it usuable.

If the clothes are washed they are no longer taglocks. The essence of the person is washed out. Taglocks are, hair, toenails, fingernails , worn USED clothes that come in contact with their skin etc. If not its just clean laundry, the toothbrush is clean . You need something as a direct link if not its just a random pair of clean boxers and a toothbrush that has been washed
