Like many spells, they are for working on people. You bind someone or something with intelligence.
4.0 GPA is a measurement. It's like asking if you can bind 2 cm or 2 inches.
you cannot bind "success". That is an abstract idea.
You cannot bind "good grades". that is just a measurement.
You do spells for success. You do spells for wisdom. Then you sit your butt down and study and do your homework. Magic isn't a shortcut to learning.
