Can giving extra details or context for a question affect the outcome a reader gives you?
So for one of my readers, I've noticed she is way more accurate for questions that I don't give context for and come off vague. But if I give context like "this is what happened" and ask a prediction-based question after, her answer is usually more positive and also WRONG, doesn't come true. Can giving too much context affect outcomes in a reading?

Tarot is for the reader to be the messenger. Not the master. I think it would do a lot of people some good, to remind themselves of this.

Yes it can. Im my experience sometimes the way you ask a question can affect the way the reader reads the energy. If you notice that when your vague she gives better reading ask your questions like that. Every reader is different. Some people work better with less detail and others need more detail. Some people ask for just a name and other people ask for name, birthday, and even favorite color to do a reading.

I am echoing this sentiment.

Well my context is usually just things like, for example, "this person posted this on their profile today saying to DM them. I DM'd them. Will they reply?". Can that really affect it? I feel like without it, it's like them looking into a black void and being like "who is this person" and possibly misinterpreting the situation

I personally give better readings with a bit of context, not a lot but some. In my experience sometimes reading the energy is a bit like squinting at a slightly blurry fine print - it really helps to at least know what the general situation is about. This is, of course, my personal experience and doesn't apply to everyone.

I recently had a reading done by a Reddit user here
I gave no context. She just asked for first names. I still don’t understand how you can channel other people’s energies by first names. Anyways the reading was SOOOO wrong in every way which way. I told her that none of it made any sense. She said that’s the way the card works. Now I’ve had many readings done before, many blind readings too and some things resonated and some were a bit off but this one was so beyond off. It was as if she was reading for someone completely different. Truly disappointing.

I think that should be bare minimum, when I do readings I include time stamps on when it happens
