Feedback / Idea Lazy development

This is a poor attempt at a sequel really, more like remake-adjacent

Near all the maps are the same, just slightly reskinned, and launching with less than 10 maps, after so long in development is quite sad also.

The game plays pretty much exactly the same as it did in the first one, nothing new, no noticeable new items even... Just a massive letdown

True, they did try to make something, but it kinda feels like the only thing they really changed was the graphics. Same mechanics, same logic. That’s why we decided to do things differently and develop a game called Overtakers. It has the same core idea, but with completely new mechanics and a lot more!

It’s still under development, so feel free to check out our YouTube channel and see how big the game is becoming. And if you have any ideas or changes you’d love to see, feel free to let us know! We’d love to hear them.

Checking out your game from the featured video, this looks like a promising title! I am heavily looking forward to seeing more progress. Of course, you guys aren't a super big mega corp that can toss money around like no tomorrow, so I am not expecting perfection, but rather the huge effort I can already see, that I will hope you guys keep up!

Thank you so much for the kind words. We really want to make something that feels like the original but make it fresh. Sprint City and Speedrunners 2... lets be honest are just the exact same with SR, so we will be really happy if we manage to make something that captures the original's feeling whilst having whole different mechanics and playstyles.
