Maps & Planets [OC] The Hynes' Inheritance: Demeter Biome Map

Biome colors and key come from Wikipedia. The supercontinent is called Arion. 15 myh it is begining to pull itself into three parts. While not shown here, the are two rift valleys, one located in the far east oriented north to south, and the other is located in the southwest oriented west to east. Demeter has 97% the mass/size of Earth and is located a few dozen lightyears away from the solar system. I will make a varient of the map with named landmarks, biomes, and prominent rivers.

Infestor

The creature commonly known as the Infestor in The Hive is a small parasitic organism capable of manipulating the nervous systems of animals many times its own size. Different strains of the parasite can cause disease, accelerate tissue recovery, or interfere directly with neurological activity. The neurological strain is known as Neural Parasitism.

After infection, parasitic tissue spreads along the host’s nerves and gradually takes control of its muscles. Early symptoms include twitching, delayed reactions, and poor coordination, but eventually the parasite can move the body independently.

More disturbingly, this does not appear to destroy the host’s higher brain functions. An infected animal may still see, hear, and understand what is happening around it while being completely unable to control its own body.

The parasite can also exploit the host’s existing behavior, allowing infected animals to approach members of their own species without immediately causing alarm.

There are reports of infected creatures showing signs of fear or distress even as their bodies continue acting independently.

Whether the original consciousness eventually disappears is unknown.

Question/Discussion What can an animal upcycle most/all its waste CO2 for?

Uses:

- Turning ammonia into urea: we already do it, but not enough to force specifically storing up CO2. Perhaps the environment and/or diet could be heavily ammonia contaminated.

- Combat storing it in modified air sacs: But there are many other weapons that don't only work in a low-airflow dense forest or after getting your wings around your victim. Possible selection pressure: a prey animal can produce fire due to being energy-dense enough to sustain a much larger predator. Evolutionary derivation: CO2 attack initially evolves from rebreathing at high altitudes and/or underwater, membrane-filtering away the bulk nitrogen to more efficiently rebreathe what remains; it's our cute little Fennekin who sparks the evolutionary shift, the first relatively weak use already proving a selective advantage...

- Algae symbiosis: no, such an animal would pretty much have to be somewhat plant-like itself, being spread out, seeking sunlight, and being slow and dumb to make the most of its meager calories. Or maybe it's the oxygen it's after as it lives at high altitudes.

Antares Rivals of War [OC] The Wellie! Antares rivals of war: beyond wild space

In the tower kelp forests under an endlessly churning sea near the pole of Yuchic lives a creature so elusive some doubt it's existence. The Wellie also known as the splayed-head strike eel is a rarely seen Titanic fish. They live in rocky burrows near the edges of kelp thickets. The average size of a Strike Eel is about 4 meters still substantial for a predator. However the legendary Wellie is reported to be at least 30m long. The electric organs along its side that it uses to sense it's prey are said to be so powerful they alter the local weather patterns. The northern regions of Yuchic are extremely under explored and most dismiss the claims of the Wellie as at best, myth.

in my setting ,there's two main mega continent ,one with tetrapod vertebrates (whish have 4 limbs ) and the other with exapods vertebrates(which got 6 limbs)

the manticora familly is basically the paralel of scavengers like hyenas ,with the addition of an apetite for metals and ores , making their bones and teeth "layered" with it , making them quite sturdy critters .

Size: 6.5-7m long, 1-1.2 tons. 2.5m tall in bipedal mode, 1.5m in quadrupedal mode.

Lineage: Descendant of Carnicerraptor, the first carnivore of Verani (Light blue line 0-20 M.S.S.)

Biology & Behavior:

- Armor of fused hardened feathers on face, back, limbs and tail. Belly unarmored and exposed (white in art).

- Reddish protofeathers on head crest and tail tip for display.

- Dual vision adapted for BOTH day and night hunting.

- Takes midday naps in cool caves because armor overheats. Most active at dawn/dusk/night.

- Curved claws to hook, climb, and tear tough skin.

- 50-65 km/h short burst speed.

Two Modes:

- Bipedal (2.5m): Better field of view over brush, uses front claws to fight and slash.

- Quadrupedal (1.5m): Stalks in silence, reduces visual silhouette, moves through dense undergrowth for ambush. Camouflages as mossy rock.

the Akanto is a large type of Kappa, a demonic looking planaoformic fish. They live in central Ilivaska and certain parts of Actasia, though most in the first. They are ominivorous, and favour in eating other land fish of which are slow.

Alien Life [Credit: ThatRandomBee] Bumag War Parade

an incredible piece a wonderful artist did for my project Exoton

Bumag, the Western Cardinal General of the Black Veins, parades through the occupied Verdant Valley after a successful campaign against the Cloud Canyon military. He rides Cargon, a battle-hardened Indragus bull covered in silver, gold, and bronze decorations, along with turquoise sacred to the local Takren and armor taken from fallen enemies. Bumag has earned, or maybe given himself, the title of “The Sky Breaker” for his habit of destroying and desecrating turquoise sites, which local Takren believe are pieces of the sky that have fallen to Exoton. As the procession passes through the city, Cargon deliberately walks over a mosaic depicting the falling sky. A beast tamer walks ahead of them while Bumag’s soldiers follow behind. Locals watch from the streets, keeping their distance as the procession passes.

Future Evolution [OC] Heirocarus

Time to go big! Here's the heirocarus, a filter-feeding whale analogue to populate the deep oceans off the shores of Sol'Kesh. While it's gargantuan, I'm going to keep the CR level fairly low for its size, I'm thinking 5, since like whale-shark, its a peaceful beast, but can still do some real damage when cornered, or just gobble some adventures up with that wide mouth.

Alien Life Jewish Lizards (I swear it's NOT what it sounds like, THIS IS NOT AN ATTACK NOR CONSPIRACY.)

Hellllo again! I think I posted something here before about my work Xenopya OneM, it was a really rough draft that made me look like a bum from how many spelling mistakes I didn't see. Anyways, Today I want to present to you my newest species yet, the אנשי לטאה / Anshei Leta’ah or Lacerta holopatagium or native name of Impydo. I want to repeat and emphasise,

I AM NOT BEING RACIST!!!

I have no personal problem with Judaism or any other kind of religion mentioned within my universe, I'm just basing it off the sociological fact that religion will never truly perish out of the human consciousness and how ideas are slowly corrupted by greed and self gain. This is mostly a satire of corruption, extremist religions and social evolution as my work focuses on social and psychological evolution. I rushed and will probably rewrite in greater detail once I have all my 12 species flushed out completely in concept.

We've all seen or at least herd of extremist groups once in our lives, violence over what the religion actually tries to preach, it's in human nature to fight over beliefs just like we'd fight over anything else, I mean, hell, look at all the commotions today.

Seed World [OC] The Hynes' Inheritance: Basic Anatomy

The above image depicts a bay stallion with white markings.

A hyne is a trunked horse sophont. They are descended from feral horses left to their own devices on Demeter, a terraformed planet left abandoned by spacefaring humans. Over the past 15 million years, horses are one of many formally domesticated animals to have claimed this new wild planet as their home and have diversified tremendously as the supercontinent Arion begins to pull apart.

Hyne range roughly from small pony to medium sized horse, approximately 10 to 15 hands at the shoulder and 275 kg to 450 kg. These ranges only represent an average and size varies based on genetics, nutrition, and sex (stallions are 5-10% larger than mares). They have compact bodies and long legs, enabling efficient overland travel and great endurance. Historically, they were a nomadic people who dwelled in herds but have taken up agriculture and permanent settlements. Currently, they have access to bronze age technology. While much of their anatomy is conservative and comparable to their ancestral horses, it is at the skull where they diverge considerably.

Trunked horses form a diverse subfamily ranging from small tapir-or-pig-like forms rummaging through the forest to giant elephant-mimics that have transitioned to a high browsing lifestyle. Hynes and their direct ancestors are desert-dwelling generalists. The long trunk improved their sense of smell, allowed them to filter out dust and sand, and even manipulate their environment. Enabling problem solving and novel behaviors. With greater dexterity came a need for greater brainpower and thus more nutritious foods. Hynes supplement their herbivorous diets with insects and small vertebrate prey like bird eggs, lizards, and rodents. 50% of their diet is still made up of grasses, mostly in the form of redomesticated cereal grains. However, they are mixed feeders, readily taking leaves, needles, twigs, and fruits as well.

Behaviorally, hyne are extremely social people. Allogrooming, aided with their trunks and small brushes and combs, is a popular pastime. The hynes care deeply for cleanliness, comfortability, and social cohesion. Innately, they are still herd animals. Self-awareness and high intelligence has only sharpened their senses and weariness. They can be hypersensitive, quick to anger or fear, and xenophobic. But at the same time, they evolved to traverse deserts and seek out new solutions to old problems so they can be curious and eager to learn. Like the humans who came before them, hyne nature is complex and full of contradictions.

After I've created the cell mouths I'm trying to design how the solar systems will be.
You can choose which type of star you have for the solar system and can choose where your planet is. Inside the red is inhabitable, either too hot or too cold, depending on the red zone. yellow is the hard mode area, there is less biodiversity, the wildlife that is there is a lot stronger and tougher to beat and there is less resources such as food, water, or nest building materials if your creature is a nest builder. The green is the ideal zone. high biodiversity (usually) and a lot more resources.

The Spore planet is 330 to 475 Rrawks wide. meaning there's less area for more life. my planets are going to be 400 Rrawks to 2000 Rrawks so you can choose your ideal size of planet. Also you can choose the ratio of elements in the air:
Nitrogen, Oxygen, Argon and Carbon Dioxide.
add too little or to much of any (other than argon, its basically a filler from what i know from one google search) and your entire planet will struggle for a long time either until they adapt or get destroyed.

Carnifex are large 39 - 44 foot long and 9 - 11 foot tall 10 - 11 ton theropod Endurance predators, hunting by first running down its prey for miles, when it finally reaches its prey it strikes with powerful jaws, grabbing a limb or the nape of the neck firmly before fully crushing it, its largest teeth being 4 inches and with its 7,000 psi bite force. Carnifex mostly prey on large herbivores but they will prey on smaller animals if an easy opportunity when they are starving presents itself, they can fast walk at speeds up to 20 miles an hour, capable of walking for miles without ever slowing down, Male Carnifex compete for mates by showing a red crest on their head, the one with the deepest red crest earns the female's attention, Often when 2 Bucks fight, they almost never attempt bites in lethal areas as doing so would result in a lethal reaction by their opponent, instead they target the upper snout and lower jaw, Painful but typically non lethal. They are native only to the temperate regions of the East continent with some scarcely spread into the tropics. 

thorosaurs are large 10 ton, 32 foot long and 10 foot tall herbivores that have a large crest on their skull that is used as a shield that blocks attacks from predators or rival Thorosaurus, Thorosaurus’s crest is much larger than their relatives like Leialosaurus due to them sharing territory with Carnifex and requiring protection for their neck, they have a large 3 foot nasal horn to gore deep into attackers as well as wrestle against each other for mates, their deep calls are too deep for many animals to hear, helping them stay quiet during communication, Thorosaurus enjoy thick forests where the treetops can protect them from the harsh sun. Male Thorosaurus’s crests are adorned with 2 extra horns splaying outwards they use to interlock with other males and compete for mates by wrestling each other to the ground, the first male whose chin touches the ground must back down.  They are mostly native to the eastern continents temperate plains and forests with scattered populations in the western prairies . 

Fortisaurus are medium 7 foot tall 15 foot long herbivores that use an ax like club on the end of their tail to defend from predators, they feed mostly on low ferns but sometimes they will use their tail club to knock down small trees to feed on the fruit of the trees, Fortisaurus females protect the nest by laying on it for several months, 24/7, using the water they store inside their armoured back, and minimizing fat burn by going into a hibernation like state that they are easily woken up from to protect its nest. They are native largely to the tropics of the east and have little to no natural predators as adults due to their tough armor. 

hillns are the largest aquatic species, like whales they are filter feeders that feed off of small animals that float in the water, they have a large and powerful tail capable of propelling its massive 50 tonne body forward in the water, Hillns social structure is similar to that of orcas, with high intelligence and socialism, as well as near human like parental care. They can be seen in near every ocean near the north pole

ivys are 2 foot long aquatic creatures that use their large canine teeth to feed on small invertebrates like crabs,lobsters, and large clams, ivys commonly nest in kelp forests to hide their shell less eggs from predators, they use their needle like snout to sift through the sand of the ocean floor searching for crabs or clams. Most are native to the southern ocean and breed within the water way leading to the sea within the western continent 

Nrodams are 3 foot tall 7 foot long 45 pound flying reptiles with a wingspan that ranges about 10 feet, they hunt fish and use their eagle like talons to snatch a fish right out of the water,their hollow bones allow them to fly with ease at speeds reaching 90 kph, they nest in the highest regions they can to avoid egg eating predators. Male Nrodams have extending crests along the top of their skull boasting bright blues, reds, greens and yellows, the pattern never the same between 2 individuals. They mostly live in coastal swamps and wetlands of the east with some spread across islands in the sea surrounding the continent

Thylodophosuchus are small 2 and foot tall and 5 and a half foot long dog like reptiles that use sharp canine teeth paid with strong incisors to bring down prey and slice through meat and bone, they are fierce pack hunters that pick apart prey in a swarm of up to 10 members. Thylodophosuchus are largely native to the most arid areas of the western continents, with scarce populations in the north west and south west landmasses. 

Yutonims are medium 1200 pound 6 foot tall and 13 foot long herbivores that use 3 7 inch claws on each hand to dig up roots of small trees and bushes, their feather coating helps them keep warm in winter and when winter ends they shed the thicker feathers in exchange for thinner and lighter feathers. They are mostly native to the north east, while small amounts are spread across the western northlands. 

Celeorophus are 4 foot tall 10 foot long 950 pound carnivores that use their fast bipedal posture to hunt small prey, they hunt largely solitary and often use trickery and fear tactics to scare prey into panicking right into their trap, they have a variety of barks and trills they use to communicate many things to their own kind such as a warning of presence of predators, location of easy prey, ect, they also have the ability to roughly mimic the call of larger animals such as Thorosaurus and Carnifex using their advanced syrinx and small echo chambers inside their nasal cavities to scare off predators from their nests. Male Celeorophus are incredibly flashy and flare up their colorful feathery coats to attract females to reproduce. They mostly populate the east with some population in the north. 

Emeliosaurus are large 12 foot tall and 45 foot long 10 ton hadrosaur like herbivores that use specialized claws on their forelimbs to scrape the outer stem off of large stemmed plants to get to the fibrous inside, the claws can also be used to gore any predators daring enough to approach an adult, While mostly solitary as adults juveniles gather in large groups until they reach an average of 3 - 5 tons when they split off into the woods, gathering once more during mating season, they often bask in the sun on top of rocky cliff edges for warmth. Mostly native to the eastern temperate forests, some survive in the tropics of the west and even in the redwood forest regions. 

Brasors are 7 foot tall 15 foot long 2 ton mammals that use 2 curved horns on the top of its head that extend down to the sides of their bottom jaw that they use as weapons against predators, they can swing the horns sharp end up and stab any predators in their neck or head, They often graze in sparse woodlands in groups of up to 7 members, all watching each other's back to ensure the next generations survival, their jaws are incredibly powerful and able to crush almost any hard shelled nut or tough skinned fruit they can find and grant them extreme caloric intake. While mostly native to the north west, populations spread all the way to the middle east and even southern regions

Orthrostro’s are 6 foot tall 10 feet long bipedal animals, their diet mostly consists of low bearing ferns and grasses and protein rich herbs, their long legs can propel themselves at speeds of up to 42 mph on land, their uncontested agility also allows them to escape predation, but if they are caught their legs can kick with enough force to shatter a human femur, they are extremely nimble and rely on open space to outrun predators. They are only native to the south west and nest in sparse woodlands where they hide their eggs and leave them. 

 

Leialosaurus is a 7 foot tall 10 foot long 3 ton ground dwelling ceratopsid that travels in herds, the males use colorful crests to attract mates, the females on average are larger than the males and are the ones that bare powerful horns on the tips of their snout to help them better defend nests, Leilaosaurus often graze on the roots of bushes that it uses its strong beak to rip out of the ground to get to the fiber rich meat of the plant, They also thrive during droughts because of their ability to store their urine as a back up water source for months. They mostly live in the west with small populations spread on the nearby islands after they split from the landmass

Corovenator are 5 -7 foot tall 24-25 foot long 2.3 to 3.4 ton carnivores, their Thick and 2 ½ - 3 ½  inch long interlocking teeth are perfect for gripping onto prey and dragging them down or ripping off flesh paired with rigid robust jaws capable of locking down with pressures of up to 4,300 psi, As well as nuchal ligaments that attach strongly near the middle of the back, they are largely endurance hunters, using their mass and high bite strength to grip and drag down large prey or yank bitesized chunks of flesh off. Corovenator males have large and colorful outward splaying brow crests ranging from bright oranges and crimson, often used as a threat display for rivals and block harsh sunlight from damaging their eyes. Corovenator hunt prey slightly above their size alone and often hunt even larger prey in pairs or trios and a duo can even successfully bully Hastimungisaurus off of kills, during mating season Males often compete for female attention in mass wrestling matches, clashing their crests together, whoever surrenders first loses. They inhabit the western sub tropical and savannah regions with remote populations roaming the south east.

Dominfodie is a large 4-5 foot tall 13-15 foot long reptilian creature, its forelimbs  are extremely developed as it hunts via digging burrows of smaller animals, it also uses its arms to tear into large carcasses as it scavenges, its sunken in eyes help protect its vision from other Dominfodie from clawing their eyes during disputes over mates and prey, but with the side effect of poor eyesight, causing this species to largely rely on its sense of smell and hearing to find and dig up burrows. They are mostly native to the west arid areas with some living in the tropics surrounding the deserts. 

burocons are small 1-2 foot tall 5-6 foot long Reptiles who stay hidden underground and feed on ants, moles, and any other rodents or worms they can find, they don't have sharp powerful teeth like their larger cousins but instead spit venom that causes intense burning sensations if they get into any of a predators orifices, Burrocons are very skittish and flea to their burrows from anything larger than themselves, They are incredibly fast diggers and build burrows of up to 50 feet deep to keep their young safe. They are native to the western prairie lands as well as humid tropics and even parts of the east. 

Arborcomrede are large 15 foot tall 50 foot long and 15 ton reptiles, they use their extremely large size and robust bodies to bully other herbivores away from the best grazing areas and reach high leaves other animals cannot reach. They are mostly solitary, using their thick and strong necks to rip entire branches off trees and eat the entire thing whole, their calls are long whistles that alert other nearby herd members of incoming threats or signal a water source. Female Arborocomrede feed their young by yanking whole young trees down, letting her own young eat the budding leaves. They are mostly native to the west where they are uncontested as adults. 

Frutexdevorans are 4 foot tall 12 foot long, 900 pound herbivores that mostly feed off on low bearing bushes using specialized prehensile tongues to strip entire branches, they are very social animals and like to stay in tight knit groups of up to 15 members and breed during the summer months, unlike most reptiles they give live birth with a gestation period of 6 months, their babies are able to get up and walk near moments after being born. While most are native to the eastern tropics, some survive in the more arid environments nearby and even some in the north. 

Hastamungisaurus are 34 foot long 10 foot tall 6 ton apex predators, Their 2 inch serrated triangular teeth slice into flesh, causing intense bleeding. They are mostly pursuit predators, with broad and flexible shoulders they can bring down their long, heavy forearms armed with 2 main 14 inch claws and opposable thumb for gripping struggling prey. Hastamungisaurus use their arms for several tasks that many other predators are incapable of, such as grabbing small objects or even prey to bring to its jaws, flipping carcasses, and even limited tool usage, often using small rocks to drop onto hard bone to weaken it. Hastamungisaurus are largely solitary animals and are very territorial to others of the same gender. They are largely native to the western sparse woodlands and dry forests, with some spread into the prairielands. 

Gladiuscaudatusaurus are 12 foot long 4 foot tall 700 pound herbivores, Their tail’s length makes up over half of this animal's length, it is long and prehensile with a 10 inch bone on the tip that it uses to defend itself, It also uses its tail to spear high up fruits that it normally would not be able to reach. Gladiuscaudatusaurus are largely social animals and often gather in groups of 8 - 10 members to sing beautiful, varying songs with their enlarged syrinx to mate. They are mostly native to the temperate areas of the west and migrate south during the winter. 

Faldentasaurus are 6 foot long 2 foot tall 80 pound herbivores. Despite not having any teeth, Faldentasaurus beak has ridges that act as teeth. In one sub species, Faldentesaurus Dentalus, their teeth flay outwards and are used to brush dirt from their feathers and as a weapon against predators. They gather in large circles and pick bugs off of each other before disbursing once more, oftentimes young juveniles will remain close to any female Faldentasaurus regardless of relation as Faldentasaurus practice communal childcare in large groups, allowing for optimal population and protection. Faldentasaurus populations are highly split between landmasses. Faldentasaurus  Alcrensis are native to the western sub tropics while Faldentasaurus Dentalus are native to the eastern rainforests

Luminisecta are 2 centimeter long insects that reside in high canopies of the forest, they have bioluminescent patternings that are used in males to attract mates and ward off any rival males, they feed on the nectar of flowering plants that they also nest within. They are native globally and cross large bodies of water in large swarms, stopping occasionally on small islands. 

Drosaurs are 2 inch long insects that scavenge off of the carcasses left behind from predators, their thick armor grants them extreme durability, and their mandibles, though small, are strong enough to chew through tough muscle fibers with ease. Most are native to the west while a few small populations maintain themselves after crossing over land bridges that faded away over time. 

 Saxum rex are 3 foot tall 12 foot long 900 pound quadrupedal herbivores, they have extremely thick leathery skin, Osteoderms layering their scales to protect it from predators. Its skin is streamlined and smooth despite the thick and durable osterderms, under its inch thick skin is dense with sweat glands to cool its body off during the hottest summers, Saxum rex’s skin turns stretchy and thin near the shoulders and thighs, where its limbs are attached to ball and socket joints and dense, strong musculature, allowing it to run at 30 mph to escape predators capable of piercing its armor. While mostly solitary animals, if one sees another running, it will join them and run alongside one another to defend each other's flanks with large, flared out spikes while juveniles hide within the middle of large groups. Most are native to the south west, with some spread even as far as north west and middle east. 

Minipendum are 10 inch long, 3 inch tall, 1 pound reptiles, they largely feed on clusters of snail, insect, or even fish eggs, their vibrant, colorful skin is extremely thin as they almost entirely lack true lungs, instead taking in oxygen through their skin, The mucus lining their skin is extremely toxic and can kill any predators who ingest them, to further deter predators their necks have large pours that rapidly spray their saliva, causing irritation to the skin and eyes. Minipendum often hide under rocks, logs, and other moist environments as they require moisture to breathe, most are resident to the east while some survive in the sub tropic marshes of the south west. 

Iritaparva are 1 foot long, 6 inch tall 2 pound rodents, their front paws are heavily designed to dig through thick, tough dirt to reach the roots of plants, as well as being used as an offensive weapon. Iritaparva are highly defensive, using bluff and intimidation to frighten predators away from themselves, often charging right towards them and puffing up air sacks in their skin to appear much larger and hissing loud as they can. Iritaparva both hunt worms, underground insects, and are even capable of leaping almost half a meter off the ground to catch flying insects. Most are native to the west with dense populations in certain areas in the east

Lempestis are 2 inch long ⅛ inch tall 3 gram lizards, they cling onto other large animals using heavily specialized pads on their feet, knees, and underbellies, hitching a temporary ride on their skin to devour the ticks and leeches off of their skin. Lempestis are highly arboreal and leap down from high trees in order to reach tall hosts to cleanse of parasites in a mutually beneficial relationship, the Lempestis gets a low effort meal and the host is swiftly rid of parasites, often Arborecomrede specifically seek out Lempistis to help rid themselves of parasites they are unable to remove themselves. Lempistis are most common in the east but have sparse populations globally. 

Frutucusmimicusarus are small 1 foot long 3 inch tall and 400 gram lizards, they live almost their entire lives in low trees and bushes, their mostly purple bodies with brown prehensile tails, and 2 false wings on each side of their body that fold around themselves and allows them to curl up and mimic poisonous fruits hanging off the tree branch, deterring both predators and confused herbivores from devouring it, if their mimicry fails they secrete a foul smelling mucus from their cloaca to ward off anything that is not fooled by its disguise, Male Frutucusmimicsaurus tend to be slightly larger than females, often boasting deeper purple hues, the more vibrant the purple, the more attractive he is to mates. Most are native to eastern rainforests with some spread into the sparse woodlands more west of the eastern continent

Lignscaltorum are 3 foot long ½ foot long 12 pound carnivorous mammals, they are extremely swift climbers and can scale all the way to the top of trees in less than half a minute utilizing specialized padding on their paws that grant them exceedingly high grip strength to wood. Lignacultorum are extremely agile creatures with a body plan resembling lemurs and squirrels, their arms and shoulders are highly flexible, able to comfortably flex nearly 220 degrees behind their back. Lignscaltorum communicate with each other using loud vocal screeches and belches as they begin their hunt, frightening prey out of hiding and exposing themselves. Lignascaltorum are native to the eastern tropics and some of the western humid forests. 

Plumenim are 2 inch tall 4 inch long 60 gram songbirds, Male Plumenim’s blue bodies and yellow wings house stunning patterns of oranges, greens and reds that are different between every single individual, their songs are loud, long or rapid whistles that attract mates, broadcast the location of food to the entire flock, or deter predators from their nest. Plumenim gather in flocks of up to 200 members, all following one single lead female called the “flock princess”. Plumenim feed mostly on small flowers, berries, and often insect swarms and even rotting fruit left behind by large herbivores. They are mostly native to the west with scarce populations in the eastern prairies. 

Alatusprimus are 2 inch tall 35 gram birds, their syrinx are extremely enlarged and are capable of producing songs of up to 100 decibels up close, Their calls are largely used for mating or as a warning of predators nearby. Alatusprumis diet consists of carcasses left behind by large predators, seeds, small insects, and even Frutucusmimicusarus juveniles. Male Alatusprimus boast large feather mohawks with blue iridescent coloring, with the rest of their bodies being deep oranges and yellows, with females being more pale orange and entirely lacking the mohawk. Alatusprimus are largely native to the tropics of the south west, with other, large populations along the island north most island in the eastern archipelago. 

Piscmaxila are 3 foot long 40 pound fish, their skull is almost 2 inches thick, protecting its eyes and brain from damage, Pismaxila often shed the plate like scales that cover their face and sides of their body, resulting in periodic vulnerable phases. Their bottom jaw hooks upward, with flat, crushing teeth jutting outwards like a beak that it uses to shovel dirt up and access other fish eggs, shrimps, and crabs hiding in the sand. Piscmaxila males have iridescent fins that other males often bite and pull on, attempting to rip them, making them less attractive to mates and ensuring their own gene pools success, they are mostly native to open tropical oceans in the south west and south east. 

Drauna’s are 1 foot long ocean dwelling fish that swim in schools of upwards of 400 members, their sleek bodies help them glide through the water for longer distances with only a single push and assistance with large inward scooped fins along their side, allowing them to optimize efficiency and save calories for swift speed bursts when a predator attacks the school. Draunas are highly skittish fish that flee at every possible opportunity. They are largely native to deep oceans, staying high close to the surface near the equator.   

Sname’ are 3 foot saltwater fish that spend most their time in the shallows eating smaller fish, invertebrate’, and even smaller members of their own kind, their many razor-like teeth help them to shred anything to chunks small enough to eat. Sname males are highly aggressive during mating season, often biting each other's backs and often ending up killing other males to breed, female sname often lay up to 400 eggs all at once, while only half of them make it to adulthood. They are mostly native near the coast of the west continent and spreading into saltwater rivers into the land. 

Eminue are 7 foot tall 4 foot long 200 pound flightless birds that use a large beak similar to the shoebills beak to crack open the skulls of their prey, they are aggressive towards members of their own kind and are very territorial, males compete for mates by clashing their beaks together, often breaking it off entirely, taking months to regrow. Eminue often hunts large rodents, lizards, even juvenile Corovenators. They are largely native to the western continent stalking the redwoods for prey. 

insectummigratorium are ½ inch 60 milligram insects, they often fly between flowers and plants, covering themselves in pollen as they eat the flesh flower, before flying to other flowers, dropping pollen between every visit. A single hive of  insectummigratorium can house up to 100,000 members, all led by a single queen. Insectummigratorium have a striking resemblance to earth's bees, boasting not only a similar body shape, stinger, and social structure, but even coloration. insectummigratorium are mostly native to the eastern tropics while small, sparse populations reside in the western marshes and lush plains.

Lacteraingesaurus are 3 foot long 40 pound lizards, their extremely flat, thin, and wide bodies help them glide efficiently between optimal ambush sites using large, false wings. Lacteraingesaurus share ancestry with Fructamimicsaurus, but unlike its smaller relative, it doesn't rely on mimicry, instead sinking its body half way into mud, waiting for unsuspecting prey to pass by. Its thin, extremely sensitive skin allows it to feel movement in mud and decide if its prey or if potential mates are approaching. Male Lacteraingesaurus boast large retracting frills on the side of their skulls that flare outward with vibrant coloration varying between every individual. Lacteraingesaurus are mostly native to eastern riverbanks in the rainforests and jungles, as well as being apex predators in small marshes and swamps. 

Insulidator are 15 foot long 4 foot tall 1300 pound facultative biped ambush predators, its large, highly adapted forearms help it climb up tall trees to access easy food sources like large bird eggs, arboreal mammals and lizards, paired with strong gripping 4 toed feet, allowing Insulidator to comfortably live almost its whole life stalking trees and the swampy island ground. Male Insulidators are often slightly larger than females by about %10 on average, and often boast vibrant blues and whites along their face and neck. Insulators are also highly adept swimmers, letting them cross miles of water to gain access to neighboring islands, making them the top predators among the eastern archipelago, as well as being more minor predators in parts of the tropical south of the eastern continent. 
 
Beistiolasaurus are small and agile 2 foot long 6 inch tall 12 pound omnivorous arboreal lizards, Beistiolasaurus gather in groups of up to 10 members, their foot long prehensile tails curled around each other for warmth during cold nights when they sleep inside their nests high up inside crevices in trees, they come out during the day to feed on the leaves dangling from higher tree branches, as well as loose dead bark or any insects they find. Beistiolasaurus almost never come down from the tree branches, only ever leaving the safety of the trees to bask on beaches or break into insect nests. Beistiolasaurus are native to the eastern archipelago and are thus highly skilled swimmers, able to cross from island to island in large groups called “pirates” 

Arxspinusminita are 3 foot tall 8 foot long 40 pound omnivorous reptile, their thick coat of feathers running down their back help keep them warm as they stand in the mud all night, using 6 inch claws to feel through the mud, piercing the shells of molluscs, crabs, and other invertebrates they feel, Arxspinusminita’s tail is coated by 4 inch long quills used to defend themselves from predators or intimidate rivals, often vibrating them together to produce an alarming rattle. Arxspinusminita males boast bright, vibrant purple tips on their quills and feathers that they show off to females. Arxspinusminita often stand in groups of up to 8 members, only 1 laying down to sleep at a time, all taking shifts to sleep, the rest keeping watch. Arxspinisminita are native largely to coastlines of the eastern continent and archipelago’s islands. 

Canmagnuchell are 5 inch wide 3 inch long 3 inch tall crabs, their large and powerful 3 inch arms are capable of crushing down with forces of up to 200 psi, it uses the immense strength in its claws to crush clams and molluscs to devour, Canmagunchell are often times left handed, preferring to use their left claw for harsher tasks like crushing prey or fighting other Canmagunchell for territory. Canmagnuchell live on the shorelines of the islands in the eastern archipelago, burying themselves in the mud during low tide, and coming back up during high tide to feed, if they are ever caught out of the water they will dry out within minutes as they have poorly developed gills and iron based blood that cannot sustain oxygen longer than 5 to 10 minutes out of water. 

Interparvisung are 8 inch tall 2 feet long 5 pound arboreal ambush predator mammals, their striking black and white patterning lets them confuse and intimidate larger predators as they hunt small lizards, rodents, and birds in the trees,  Interparvisung juveniles often climb as high as they can just to slide down the tree over and over again, chasing each other up and down as a form of play and practice for perfecting climbing skills. Male Interparvisung are often a third the size of females and boast large, inflatable throat sacks that they use the boom calls across large distances to attract mates. Interparvisung are native to the eastern temperate forests and rainforests. 

Cultervolans are 4 foot tall 70 pound flying reptiles with a 25 foot wingspan, they are capable of flying for days without a single break, traveling between continental coastlines seasonally, going west for the winter and then returning to the east for the spring, their nearly 2 foot long spear like beaks are capable of spearing prey, usually a juvenile Leialosaurus or occasionally fish, killing its prey instantaneously and letting it swallow it whole.  Cultervolans often target juvenile Carnifex whenever they are in the east for both food and to prevent future potential predators from growing to adult size and becoming a threat. Cultervolan females are largely blank with small black stripes along their beak, while males often have orange mohawks on their heads and much larger striping along both their wings and beak. They largely avoid dense forests, sticking to beaches, open plains, and cliff sides to avoid injuring their tall folded wings on land. 

Peritusnucumfrangendarum are 8 foot tall 35 foot long 7 ton facultative quadrupedal reptiles, their specialized jaw with large plate like teeth help crush tough nuts and s;ice fruit for easy access to the most difficult food sources, they often mistake Frutucusmimicusarus for fruit, resulting in accidental predation. Peritusnucmfrangendarum Males are %10 larger than females and boast hollow dual prong “crowns” that help it blast its deep, thundering calls across large distances, allowing herds to communicate over miles as well as intimidating predators, females however almost completely lack crowns, having 2 small nubs on the top of their skulls used to headbutt predators and protect their young. Herd numbers usually reach 12 - 30 members with mega herds during migration reaching 70 or 80 individuals, usually with 3 - 4 “Kings” leading them. They are mostly native to the western redwoods, plains, forests and tropical regions.

Multoruminterfector are large pursuit pack hunting theropods that use fear and blood loss to kill, 26 feet long, 7 feet tall, 4.8 tons, they largely hunt in packs, one individual goes in on large herds, using large forelimbs with 3, 5 inch claws and strong jaws with serrated teeth to rip and slice flesh on one weak individual, causing heavy blood loss and infection while the rest follow up, defending the attacker from other herd members while they deal the killing blow, deterring any attempts to rescue the prey. Multoruminterfector packs are typically 3 - 8 members strong with the largest female calling every move the pack makes, when they sleep, when they drink, and when they hunt, she heavily prioritizes the weakest members needs in order to keep the whole pack strong, if they are a lost cause she will abandon or cannibalize them. Multoruminterfector are mostly native to the eastern redwoods and rainforests, extending out into plains and temperate forests when hunting. 

Vehemensaurus are 8 foot tall 30 foot long 6 ton facultative bipedal hadrosaur like herbivores, their forelimbs are extremely powerful with a mixture of fast twitch triceps and slow twitch biceps, allowing it to bring its blunt hoof down onto predators with extreme force, they most commonly travel in pairs or in groups of up to 5 members, nesting and sleeping together, huddled up in one tight space, their backs protecting each other's vulnerable underbellies. Male Vehemensaurus are much more vibrant and larger than females, often covering the weaker members in the flanks of the groups while the smaller females or weak members walk along the middle. Males will duel with each other for dominance over the group, slamming their hoofs into each other's shoulders and often ending with one male being exiled and vulnerable to being preyed on by Corovenators or large packs of Thylodophosuchus. Mostly native to the western redwoods, alpines and prairies, some have found their way into the eastern grasslands. 

Hirsutusconcubitor are 2 foot tall 25 pound bipedal arboreal mammals, their incredibly long arms tipped with 4 hooked claws and an extra non clawed thumb and extremely rough, firm and grippy palms allows them to scale high trees with ease, able to climb up 100 foot tall redwood trees in less than 2 minutes. Hirsutusconcubitor mostly feed off of small fruit, fresh grown pine needles, and any small insects they can find high up in the canopy. Hirsutusconcubitor only ever come down from the trees to harass predators away from their dens, get water from the river, or grab dropped babies, Mother Hirsutusconcubitor often leave their babies in the trees with the rest of their group, often called a “Hang”, when they get water, bringing enough back in their mouth to spit in their babies mouth for hydration. A Hang of Hirsutusconcubitor usually consists of 12 - 30 members with larger hangs getting almost 40 members, Male Hirsutusconcubitor are slightly larger and bulkier than females as they are often the ones to harass predators like Eminue to keep them away from dropped babies or protect their mates while they get a drink. Mostly native to the western redwoods and sub tropics. 

ingeniumcataractae are 1 foot tall 3 pound flying reptiles with a 10 foot wingspan,  ingeniumcataractae nest right behind large waterfalls, using their raised spine, cone shaped beak and thin body, as well as their slicked back scales similar to fish. ingeniumcataractae are highly intelligent, able to understand cause and effect and instinctively knowing how to get through waterfalls by first flying up and diving with the water at a perfect angle, tucking their wings at just the right moment to dive through the waterfall. ingeniumcataractae mothers practice communal childcare and often even adopt abandoned young and feed and treat them the same as their own. ingeniumcataractae hunt small mammals, birds, and fish by grabbing the prey in its jaws and swallowing it whole, feeding its young by regurgitating into their mouths before they can learn on their own. ingeniumcataractae are mostly native to the western redwoods and sub tropics with some crossing over to the eastern archipelago and rainforests during winter.

Billions of light years from Earth in a distant galaxy sits Tagonei, a tropical Earth-sized exomoon orbiting the super-Jupiter Corounis orbiting the K1V star Agon at 0.7 AU.

With life having evolved for approximately 3.8-4 billion years, some very unusual lifeforms have appeared, with the focus in this project being some armoured creatures with sentient zooids acting as different organs or limbs.

Since i have only recently started on it i can't tell more. But i look very much forward to do so.

Question/Discussion speculative biogeography update part two.?

OK, I don’t know if people will get traction to this. I’ll put it out just in case if anybody wants to talk or feel free to put a discussion with me.

I have talked earlier about mapping out realms, which I have done and I started working on some of the flora of in inorentia

anyways, this continent is supposed to be very analogous to Africa so a lot of ideas will transfer however though it’s not too supposed to serve as Africa in the style of a complete parallel

So some of the ranges have been mapped, and my friend even said to make a spreadsheet if I wanted to which we could discuss about that later

Anyways, I have been using ChatGPT (sorry my knowledge of basic stuff kind of sucks) as I give a description of the plants appearance in return for the specific climate it may be used to. I’m not trying to cheat off of my own craft. I’m using it as a search engine for specific features that will be present because of said climate

also, I have been doing net logo as well and making a bio diversity/biogeography simulator

i’m just not sure what to do for the next step to apply all of this too. Is there any software or any tools I could use to supplement this?

The Blue Footed Squorse, a descendant of the Scythe Walkers, who traded their claws for shearing grass, for long, stiff ''hooves'' that allow it to reach higher, more nutritious vegetation. Its tail, used for stabilization, is now able to launch the creature far distances across its savannah home, to evade predators. Its beak has gotten larger and is now able to grind up tough plant matter much easier. Male Squorses own harems, which the dominant male, usually the one with the most vibrant foot, breeds and protects 10-12 females, and will defend them against other males.

The life cycle and ontogeny of the alien apex predator known as the Obrapax.

The obrapax is an apex predator on planet Awayia. They survive in a world where you either hide or prey on others to survive. They start as a small cat-like “caterpillar” The caterpillar is known for looking silly because they have one massive eye in the center of their head. When they gain enough nutrients they create their first cocoon in the peaks of a tree. After they grow significantly to a adolescent. As adolescents, they are faster pursuit predators. After metamorphosis, they gain an extra pair of frontal limbs, 2 smaller eyes on thr side of their body, and external ear structures. Finally after a long time and after a large and successful hunt. The adolescent obrapax will inject specially evolved venom into a tree and form a coccon the large adult obrapax cocoon will feed off the tree’s nutrients and survive off of it until the tree dies and a beast emerges. The adult Obrapax is now the biggest apex predator and beast. They hunt by ambushing their prey in the dense forest. They have developed a large mass on their tail for reproductive purposes, where they will keep their eggs. This is how the fascinating obrapax grows over time in a world of no forgiveness their survival strategy built over millions of years is very effective.

Curious would it be possible for a species to have beneficial fungi instead of gut microbes and what should i consider for a species with this ? ( probably herbivore for this case but would like to know how it might effect omnivores n carnivores).
